I gave up maths. I love the idea, the logic behind it all that there is a number for everything (except surds, they can burn and rot in hell >_<) but I wasn't very good at it. Not bad but not good. What are you doing in it? Anything interesting?

Bummer. Anyway, if you want you can help me out with my story a little bit more. I need a trumatic experience that someone (a girl) would have as a child. It can be anything but I want to keep out of the sort of rape area. I know that that would be one but this is for school. It can be as bad and as descriptive as you want but nothing that won't make me look bad when I have to read it out in front of the class.

Is it a recurring experience or one specific event? Does it have to be unique to a girl? There's always physical abuse or neglect. She could have witnessed a death/murder of a loved one. And how old are we talking about? Because extreme constant bullying could possibly work.

How about near fatal car accident? There would be alot of repression for that.

1 specific event. Doesn't have to be unique to a girl but just saying that so it can't be something for a boy. In my story at the current time she is 25 so I'd say this would have had to have happend at quite a young age. I'm still not sure when. Probably before 13 but old enough to kind of know what was happening around her.

@xmbts: I could probably work that one in. God parents or some relative (not parents if possible) were driving along and a car crashes into them head on. Car flips on it's side (girl being at the bottom and relative on the top). Relative is dead with blood dripping down onto the girl.

I could do that. I would prefer it if the girl is unharmed or at least nothing life threatening hapens to her, if I can help it anyway. Mainly because I want her to remember the event after blocking it out of her mind. Any scars from near death experiences could be like a constant reminder. Still I might use this.

@Best: You could do that. But what about she is out at a public place and gets separated from her parents and someone tries to kidnap her, but fails. I had a similar experience like that when I was ~8. :/
