@Eumersian: ZvP is usually pretty awesome. I wish my Protoss had some variety, and didn't have the ONLY unit which can be hit from both the ground and the air.

And Terran being everywhere just cause of the campaign MIGHT be true, but I'm inclined to think otherwise. I just see Terran as a race which has the simple firepower to run over EVERYONE. MMM? Crushes everything unless you go a particular counter build. Otherwise, you die miserably, and Marines are just downright crushing to almost all units that everyone else gathers.

@Razor: Just noting how one sided that everyone is online.

@Eum: That's a good point, and one that I follow. I tend to not watch things I don't enjoy. Saves me from making bitter posts about how much I hate something because I was too stupid to do something else.

My experience of Starcraft II can be summed up with:
-played the first level.
-put it down to play something else for a bit.
-discover email & Battle.net Account have been hacked.
-retrieve email, can't be bothered getting Battle.net account back.
-receive email about a week ago saying my WoW account I don't even have is going to be locked for illegal activities.

@Razor:.......You MIGHT have wanted a bit more action against that sort of thing. I mean, if it ends up in your name that you did some evil things and didn't let them know that it was hacked, you can be held liable for not informing them. Just kind of the stuff you need to take care of.

Yeah, I get what you mean. M&M&M and/or M&M&M + Tanks is virtually unstoppable without a specific counter or some really clever play. I've been yelled at for playing the OP race before.

But after this TvT matchup (Brat_OK vs. Rain), it's ZvP and TvP. Way more fun.

@Eumersian: Absolutely. Terran have absolute flexibility as a race right now. And while that is supposed to be kind of their thing, they are flexible to the point in which you can build ANY structure and it can be amazing against ANY race. Ghosts, Marines, Tanks, Vikings all are good against EVERYTHING the Protoss have.

And it isn't the players fault. The race is just too flexible to deny the use. Course, some ZvP and TvP is going to be much more fun to watch.

@Eumersian: Personally, I am not all that great. I just am too lazy when I play. Sometimes I got it into me to actually play and do alright, but most of the time I wasn't all that big.

@Stranger: And that's why I caved in and got a Starcraft notebook (upon the suggestion of one of my friends, who's Diamond right now). I'll have to say, it really helps.

@Eumersian: My problem isn't skill, it is that I don't really have any dedication to more competitive play. Again, when I am good, I can do some sneaky tricks and interesting plays, but it just isn't in me to play it. Maybe you have the drive to be awesome at Starcraft 2, but I do not.

@Stranger: I doubt it will. The email off Blizzard was a "We have noticed you doing bad stuff so we're going to lock your account" instead of a "Prepare to be fucked by the long dick of the law". It was probably someone in China or something trying to scam other players or selling gold.

As for having the drive to be awesome at games, I have to side with Stranger on this one. I've only ever been ok at strategy games because I just don't have the drive to become rather good at them. I typically load up a RTS only to play a few games against the bots set in the region of medium-hard. That's enough for me to enjoy it and that's all I play them for. There's only one game I actively play and try to get better at, and it's a co-op game:
