What would it look like? Would it be a place you'd be comfortable showing other people? Or would you want to lock the door and throw away the key?

I'd have two rooms, the one I show people and the one that's for me. The one I show people would be a nice lounge, and the one for myself would be smaller, more cozy, and a hell of a lot less organized.

Id tell people they could enter, just dont expect too much, you'll get what you receive, and you'll probably be offended if you look deep enough.

The room itself would be one of those standard sized ones with the walls a dark emerald green, a ruby red floor, and a sapphire blue tile floor with a GO on a round shield with the birthstones in a clock face lay out (starting with the Garnet at the 12 spot) in the center. if you picked and peeled at the walls, youd see them flake off for an eye to stare at you. Over all the room would feel... cozy. Not too big where you feel like youre drowning in its ambiance, but not too small to where you feel confined and trapped.

My mind would be a holodeck where the safety protocols were off and Michael the archangel and Loki were fighting over the controls.

It'd probably have a couple of martial artists (damn my love for martial arts >_> ), computers and computer games, animals, and the cast of Footrot Flats (easily my favourite movie, comic books and soundtrack since as far back as I can remember) just to name some stuff off the top of my head.
The walls may or may not be plastered with pony-pics, too. >_>

Umm... I guess I'd be okay with showing people who I actually knew, but even if my mind-room was completely bare I wouldn't show people unless I really knew them. I mean... it's my mind. To show someone into your mind-room would surely be showing the highest level of trust to another person possible. :p

Well the question's just really if you'd be comfortable showing it to people or not. As in, would you be embarassed by what's inside it, or proud.

Eheheh. Hmm. I think I need some coffee, I only vaguely answered the OP. My bad...

If some random made his way into my mind-room, I'd probably be a bit embarrassed. If it was a friend, however, I think I wouldn't necessarily be proud, but merely eager to see how my friends would respond. :p

My room would probably look like a warehouse of different porno sets.

Ah the joy of my mind.

Nothing would work quite as expected sure the doorknob will open the door but maybe you have to push it down while yelling at it to make it open.

Every room will remain the same overall but enough changes will occur that from the time you leave the room and then enter it again it will seem off.

The final part of my mind room would be that once you figure out how everything works it will all change.

Welcome to how my mind works.

Holes in the floor, extremely psychodelic wallpaper, black ceiling, tattered bed, and a poster of pokemon on the door.

A cold, dank, stone cell. No furnishing, with the only light coming from a bare lightbulb hanging from the ceiling. I don't like artificial light, so most of the time it's off. People are welcome inside, but for some reason they never want to stay with me.

Covered in blood, with weeping angels. And broken dreams, broken promises, and my own broken black heart.

An organized chaos with psychedelic influences, the smell of marihuana and music of all genres while I'm slowly bobbing my head to the music from a comfortable couch, while watching ponies.

Interesting question... I'd have to say that my 'room' would be completely devoid of anything, including a coherent thought.

Think the 'Labyrinth' from Hellraiser. I kid, I kid. It'd be a place I wouldn't want to show people, that's for sure.
