I really doubt anyone would want a tour of my mind.

Not that it's a bad place even though I have seen some horrible shit (not going into detail i'll just say 12 years in the British army as part of 2 Para, work it out yourself...... and I lived with my gran as a kid and she had horrible flowery wallpaper, the stuff of nightmares).

My mind is more of a bizarre place. I find it very hard to take anything seriously and see the funny side to damn near everything.

And besides my love of my wife and kids I don't have the firmest grip on reality.

But my mind is a happy place. Just doubt anyone would fancy a stroll through it.

What do you mean, "if"?
My bedroom practically is my mind, which is probably why I don't like anyone coming in without an invitation.
I'd show a picture, but... no.
At least the bloodstains are gone from the carpet now. I really am too clumsy.
My room is stuffed with books, plushies, consoles, animé and loads of random stuff.
It is a complete mess >.>

I'd give them a tour if they'd have asked me nicely and told me the three magical words.

Firstly, I'd show them my wall of shame, mixed in with my wall of fame. And the tiniest corner of said wall would be called 'wall of pride' which would be impossible to notice on first glance, and is still quite hard to notice even when you stare at it point blank. Its contents are not too impressive either, compared to the rest of the wall.

Secondly, yet another wall where there's random footage viewed, and it changes each 5 seconds. It's quite intriguing just staring at the wall mesmerized, and you could most likely stare for days and days on end and never find yourself bored, but you would force yourself back into reality soon enough. You'd probably smile and laugh a lot more than usual, than you would before watching.

Lastly, you would notice the 3rd wall and last one which does not contain an entrance and can thus not be filled up. The 3rd wall would stack up several studio equipments, amplifiers, guitars, pianos, all kinds of instruments that plays constantly, not leaving a single nanosecond without a tone. Again, it's quite entertaining, especially when the instruments attempt their own accords and lyrics, rather than recorded songs from the outside world. But, you'd find it hard to concentrate at any given time, and wish you could turn down or even off the volume at times. But, there is no mute button. It plays non-stop whether you like it or not, wherever your mood lies.

I doubt people would ever wish to visit the room again.

It would have people in it saying: Ohh hi!

No on would ever die of a serious illness or be worried about it, you have sex 4 times in the first 20 minutes of a 2 hour period in which you will constantly be asked how your sex life is.

Only two people in the room at any one time, coz "trees a crowd".

If you argue and feel wronged then you WILL say that person is tearing you apart.

Also don't ask about anyone's client, "it's confidential".

NO DRUGS.

Framed pieces of cutlery everywhere.

You are always being recorded.

(INSERT irrelevant flower shop scene here:..... )

.....and if you see Denny, tell him he owes me money!

my mind would be like a museum. where everything is set out on display for people to gawk, laugh, and wonder why anyone would consider such things.

but when I'm alone, I secretly take things out of there display cases, and enjoy my surroundings.

I think there'd be pieces of paper blu-tacked to every verticle surface, it would probably be a weird shape and there'd be CCTV showing everything for miles around... situational awareness is a good thing to have.

Mine would be a room of madness that which should never be seen. Would I show it to anyone? No. Why? Time to quote some Lovecraft:

"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age."

Or maybe that's a reason to show it to people. Just to screw them up...

My room would be... unusual. But if you're fine with that it would be a lot of fun, except every so often everything would go dark and a voice would tell everyone to fuck off.

this

not really, but close. It'd be a complex maze full of weirdness and pop-culture refferences and horrid creatures. It'd certainly defy physics as well, with gravity-reversing, relativity squashing madness. HEEHEEHEEHEE HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

it'd probably have pyramid head in there somewhere as well

My room is my bedroom in real life but it's alter to look like an apartment suite. It look big with awesome looking stuff ( stuff I wanted to get) inside and had wooden flooring and a nice view outside.
There is a chest in the room which is lock tight and cannot be open by other means except for a key (contain my secrets).

It would be a room of such chaos that stepping into it would cause you to spontaneously combust and reform 23 times a minute.
