I dont know about that specific issue but i must say that Roger Ebert's "games aren't art" statement rubbed me the wrong way.
If they can call movies art and not games because there are some games who clearly dont dissever the art label (and i dont mean that like, that a game is artsy), i just ask them to take a look at movies like "Gayniggers from outerspace" (it's a real movie, its danish, and its not porn. a friend of mine who mentioned this movie got a probation period of a week).
