Don't be sorry for being British. Brits rule. On to your situation:
You say this girl is a whore, hmm? You say she talks to you for closure? It seems to me like she is already aware of your feelings and is using you as an emotional crutch. Take it from a guy who broke free of the shyness chains and went on to be a romantic. That is your future bud, you will be a romantic. My suggestion is, if you have any sexual tension, wait until you're legal, see if you can start something with this girl, then move on to someone who you think you can form a healthy steady relationship.
You can test to see if she is just using you. Ask her how she feels about one of your friends who she hasn't dated. If she shows interest, take note. Go to that friend, ask him to ask her how she feels about you. If she shows no interest, you are merely a crutch. If she does show interest, something could happen. One thing you have to remember as a shy person, is you have to keep thinking about how you would treat this girl if she were yours. It makes you more confident that you should be the ONE for this girl and that any other guy will do her wrong. Good luck and stick with it my friend.
1 Actualy. Your right, brits do rule ^-^
2 As for legal, i'm 17 and shes 17. It's legal.
3 Please explain what a emotinal crutch is, sorry, my grammer is bellow average.
4 I want to belive that i whould be better for her then all those others, but i just can't belive that. They never wronged her.

Ehh, at least your right to the point.

... Might just go get high again
I know. Shitsux bro. I feel for you, but it's not doing you any favours to sugar-coat it.

There's plenty of other lasses out there mate. I've got a friend similar to you, and I've actually managed to completely null any and all feeling for her. I'm pretty proud of that.

She's a damn fine looker, too.
You really sound like you know what your talking about. Want to give me some advise on how to block out all feelings? ( Other then booze and such... Only worth temp.)
You block out all feelings like this by changing them into anger and dedicating your time to something else that's important to you.

So it's legal. Seriously consider sleeping with her... Wear a condom.
And emotional crutch is someone who is merely used because they are there for that person. If you were the crutch, that means she has no feelings for you but will talk to you and complain to you and ***** to you without end. You receive no reward for your endeavors.
They never wronged her? Then why aren't they still dating? As a possible romantic, put in your head that she would be with you forever until she does something wrong. Hey, she may not, and she could be with you for a while, but keep it in your head that you are the guy all the girls wish they had, they just don't know it yet. I'm not kidding here, with that mentality, not only can you ask her out, but you will also keep something with you that is likewise to confidence but different in an aspect where you actually care, y'know? No you don't, but now is the time to find out!

Haha, I find booze makes it worse, actually. With enough grog I end up texting her stuff about how awesome she is :p

Anyway. What I did was basically think through it all, and came to the conclusion that liking her when she doesn't like me only causes her and me a disservice. I mean, I did like her, sure. But me liking her was not good for her, and due to me liking her, I want to do whats best for her, which is not to like her, and be a good friend. (That sentence was confusing to write). I don't know, I'm a weird one, I can actually solve my own emotional problems with logic.

Basically, be a good friend, but if you're honest with yourself, you know romantic feelings will do neither of you any good. And if you have respect for her and respect for yourself, you don't want that. I'm not to do with supression, more acceptance. Once you've accepted it, you can be an even better friend that before because you're not held back by this shit.
Emotional problems solved with logic? My god, your a genius!

Take some time to think and determine if you truely want to be involved with her romantically.

If you still want to pursue the relationship do whatever it is that builds you up; drawing, hearing your favorite music, writing, exercise, having a great gaming session. While pumped up from your favorite (or most "zen inducing") activity go to her and tell her how you feel!

If you end up not wanting to pursue your feelings (for whatever reason) just maintain the freindship you have managed to aquire. No reason to burn any bridges, right?

I know, crazy shit right? Don't bother with the namby-pamby "find out how she feels, ask her friends, test being closer to her" etc., make a decision for yourself and what you think is best. Don't spend your time trying to get in line with others, make a plan of action and do it.
In that case. Fuck it. She can burn in hell. * Thinks evil thoughts...*

Problems talking to girls are easily solved by knowing what girls are. Even the ones who show up wearing a halo in your wet dreams will ultimately turn out to be ... girls. They'll stick with you while you have money; drive you nutters with their behavior, and finally swap you out for a better wallet once they've locusted all your resources.

Once you learn this, you'll start to see that girls are nothing more than easily accessible sex, and talking to them will be nothing more than an utility for getting cheaper sex than from hookers.
If you manage; keep in mind that the trick to keeping any relationship a happy one is to master the art of looking fully sincere while you apologize for not being psychic. ;-)

With the exception of agressive & controlling women such as myself (who likes scrawny geeky mama's boys), women generally do not respect/get turned on by men who are unassertive & lacking in confidence (& prefur muscular unpredictable shallow bad boys).

I believe that have some sort of group class where they teach men how to be more confident, both in approaching women & sucking up to the boss.

Yeah. First of all. I'm british. Sorry.
YOU SHOULD BEEEEE

Anyway. I wanted to ask. How on earth do you acted so assertive and confedent around girls? I mean, I sound childish, but i've allways had problems talking to girls i have feelings for.

There's this one girl i've allways had feelings for, but shes gone out with allmost all of my mates, and i've never had the confiance to even tell her that i really like her. Thing is, shes the same age as me, but shes a bit of a whore. Ever since i've been the guy she talks to for closure, ive felt really close to her, but it's just my problem that i cant tell her...

I'm not really sure why i'm posting this. But i dont know if you guys can help.
Confidence comes from knowing what you have. It's essentially manageable arrogance. My personal experience has been that the more I feel like I'm either knowledgeable or skilled at something that I can make relevant to my life, the better I do. Also, being annoyed with girls drops them down to a more approachable level. Not that you should be a woman hater, but getting burned by what will obviously be a bad idea here may turn into a useful stepping stone for the future. The mediocrity of humanity can work wonders on unwitting self-sabotage if you let it. And then eventually if you're lucky you'll meet a girl who is actually awesome and instead of being a panicky idiot, you'll interest her.

You like her? Ask her out and tell any other thoughts on the situation to go fuck themselves.

Trust me on this one, dude, no matter how afraid you are to ask, your confidence will get a major boost in the future once you do so.

Just do it.

Thats strange. for the first part i'm trying to work out if your puting yoursel down, Complementing your tastes, or just being honist... ( I hope the 3ed.)

And for the second part, It's funny becouse when it comes to women i am a utter failure.
When it comes to sucking up to the boss... It's to early to tell , but college tuters can fuck themself, and i tell them that, well, thereticly. Just not with those words... xD

There's no secret. If you have confidence, it shows, if you don't, it shows. Not all women are the same, so you can't think that by doing one certain thing you'll become better with women entirely.

The best plan is to be unflinchingly the same as you've always been. If you change yourself and manage to pick up a girl, then it won't last long because then the truth comes out that you're quite different than you advertised.

Unfortunately, for some people this is gonna lead to a lot of loneliness. There's certainly a bigger market out there for certain types of guys. But personally, I'd rather know that when I finally hit it off with a girl, it's not because I had to cheat the system; I was just what she was looking for.

I'd wouldn't ask her out if you think she behaves like a whore, I mean, if she sleeps around a lot, with short-lived relationships, what's to say yours will be any different?

Can't help you dude, I'm in a similar boat right now. All I can say is that you need to take action, if you don't then nothing will ever happen. Ever. It's up to you. Hey, what do y'know, I could help you after all. Shame I can't take my own advice, ah wey.
I know how that is. when ever a mate asks me for advise i'm allways talking as if i'm the expert. But im just a hipocryt.
This fits right in with this kind of situation. It seems a common theme that whenever someone's having trouble with knowing how to start things, it's about having confidence of doing it more than anything else.

Upfront is the best strategy. In my opinion. Flowers and cards, chocolates or whatever else, it's all good but what really should sweeten your chances is the ability to go up, ask him/her out confidently. You can wait and learn anything you want, but until you ask her/him, nothing means anything. :3
So all you really need to do is simply ask her out. You're confident enough to talk to her so all you need to do is bite the bullet and ask.

Fuck being sure, just ask, you've got one shot at living this life so why not live it the way you want. You control your emotions, not the other way around.

I tell you what, Andrew, you bite your bullet and I'll bite mine. Deal?

I am unforgivingly blatant.

Well, you can always pretend she's your boss. In a way you ARE trying to get a raise out of her, har har.
