Growing up certainly changes the way we think about the world.
I've made huge leaps in my thinking ability from around 14 onwards and when I look back at how I used to think about some things, it just amazes me at how much I've changed.
This thread is about certain revelations or times when you realized what changed in your life.
As a kid most people enjoy running around outside, having fun isn't limited to a certain purpose. I rediscovered this feeling and today doing something like walking around aimlessly or just laying on the grass enjoying the day can give me the same satisfaction as playing with games or being entertained by media.
Any moments in your life when you realized that you changed?
Ever thought about how you used to think about the world and you just felt like facepalming?
The title comes from a Velvet Underground song:
