Not a promotion for anything, just want to get whatever like minded people together and make something. I would be the sound designer and composer, we just need a great idea, some talented people and off we go to the races.
You know, I might have need for a sound guy for my missile command/cow defense game [http://thrikreen.com/unity/?viewunity=20130224.unity3d], but I'd need actual samples of work.Thoughtful_Salt said:Not a promotion for anything, just want to get whatever like minded people together and make something. The RPG has some merits, basically a riff on DLC quest, but it would have to be incredibly short or incredibly basic graphically. Could work though.Th3Ch33s3Cak3 said:A common sense RPG. When the ancient evil re-awakens, it should be easily killed with modern technology. If you come across a locked door, you should be able to kick it down. The kings not going to send some 15 year old to kill an evil knight. If there is going to be temples based of the 'elements', make it based off actual elements, like carbon and lithium(since when was water an element???? It's a molecule). If you come across an ancient weapon, it should be useless from rust and decay. If you need X number of wolf paws for a quest, you should be getting 4 paws per wolf killed. If you kill the emperor of the evil empire, the empire should continue due to succession laws put in place.
This one I like, but we could add some elements like the ability to switch to a side-scrolling shooter perspective to add some gravity mechanics in there.Roxor said:Okay, how about a top-down vertical-scrolling shooter? Those used to be a staple of gaming, but are in terribly short supply these days.

Have you played Tyrian 2000? It's on GOG for free:Roxor said:Okay, how about a top-down vertical-scrolling shooter? Those used to be a staple of gaming, but are in terribly short supply these days.

Also known as useless and the bane of all that is.
