Why don't you kill some time with Metal Gear Solid HD Collection? 3 games in one disc, and after that play some Just Cause 2.

I'd suggest metal Gear too. I think it's a bit more passive than Splinter Cell but way more interesting. But if you're not into Splinter Cell anymore...

How about Lollipop Chainsaw? Suda51 makes awesome games and believe me, I had low expectations for Lollipop Chainsaw but as it turns out, it's pretty fun. If it looks too girly for you (It is in a satirical way), how about Shadows of the Damned, also by Suda51?
I heard Bastion was pretty good too. I haven't bought it (I will) but its got great reviews. Umm...Dragon Age, Deus Ex, The Orange Box (It has Half Life and Portal 1, but if you're tired of FPS and puzzles...), Red Dead...well, they've all mentioned very good games. Except Dark Souls. I hate that game; too frustrating. But that's just me. Apparently everyone else loves it so that's gotta say something.

Have a good look at the XBLA and indie channel. There are some great games there like Limbo, Castle Crashers, Braid, Fez etc

Seeing how you mostly play shooters I'd give Vanquish a try:
And it's only $20 new since it's an older title.

Bastion (Obviously) since it, to me, is a really engrossing experience, with some replay value to experience all the abilities and both endings. But I absolutely love the Fallout games and Red Dead Redemption

All right, I got Skyrim, bastion and Braid. I saw final fantasy 13 in the store but I have heard bad things about it. I can still pick it up, but should I?

Saints Row the Third, Mincraft (fun with friends), Perfect Dark, BioShock 1 & 2, Fable 2 & 3, and that's all I can think of right now.

You might consider taking a week or so off of videogames. It does wonders for alleviating gaming ennui.

OT: If you like the Tony Hawk Pro Skater games, I'd recommend Skate 2 and 3. Compared to T Hawk (not from SF), they're very simulation-y, but still plenty enough arcade-y to be a great videogame. Grinding rails and flipping your board has never been so much fun. The grinding especially is much more satisfying and just plaing cool than in Tony Hawk games.

The 360 version of the Witcher 2 looks well done.

The XBLA has a massive category of games. I recommend N+, Trials HD and Castle Crashers.
