Bieber is pretty much just a one person boy band.... he's not any worse than backstreet boys or Nsync were : \

as for a new thing to hate?

How about the Kardashians.. they're MUCH MUCH worse than Jersey Shore : \

I never REALLY went down that road. I respected Bieber when I found out he was an avid drummer. He's got one hell of a musical background, especially in childhood. and that's a cool thing to be into at any age. Doesn't mean I have to like his Tenor voice or his teenage lamesauce lyrics. Give him time to become an adult and have his voice change. We might all love him to death in 5 years. Stay open-minded.

Here's my take on it. I hate on people/things/projects that I don't respect.

I don't respect Justin Bieber because frankly his music is terrible. I also don't respect the people who're cashing in on him like the people who greenlit his movie. How the fuck can you have an "overcoming adversity/finally realizing a dream" movie at 16 years old? I don't buy it. He doesn't have my respect so he gets no love from me.

I don't respect Nickleback because they make pussy girl rock.

I don't respect Michael Bay as a filmmaker so I frequently make my disdain for his movies well known.

The term "hate" is one of those words that has been thrown around so much that it no longer means what it's supposed to. It's just easier to say "hater" as opposed to "unimpressed-ers"

I've decided to hate girls who try to use their boobs as a way to get me to help them with their work. Seriously, fuck them.

If they actually asked like a normal person instead of pushing their boobs together, I would have gladly said yes. *is totally not bitter as she was a decent person until the deadlines got close and she did it to a few guys in my class, especially as she'd never done it before*

I feel unclean after doing that.

On topic: Eh, hating Bieber always struck me as a waste of time. I feel the same way about Twilight or My Little Pony or any other various things in the long list of internet punching bags. They're just around, doing their thing and hating on them accomplishes fuck all other than allowing you to engage in a pointless circle jerk.

Twilight haters. They are somehow getting worse than the fans. That right there is an accomplishment.

Those rabid fans of LoTR. You know the ones, who've memorized the Silmarillion and all of the novels, and will attack you venomously if you get even the smallest detail wrong as though you just raped and murdered their entire family.

"Uber-vegans." Seriously, go to hell. I am not evil for doing something I am built to do.

Militant feminists, especially if they're Wiccan. Nothing against Wicca, but it brings out the stupid in some people.

I can't say I hate Bieber and all you listed, but I can say I am annoyed by them. You like Jersey Shore? Good for you, I don't, stop obsessing about it around me! Though, to be fair, I'm annoyed when anything gets too much attention because it is all you hear about. So I don't really know where I am standing.

What I do hate? Trolls in multiplayer like Battlefield 3. Dear god, what is so entertaining about trying to piss of your "teammates" exactly? All your really doing is acting like a child and abusing the anonymity of being online where you aren't punished for being an idiot.
Which brings me to this: Why do parents let their young childern play these games? It really is irresponsible on their part and then we end up with things like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FsXccQxHhI&feature=player_embedded

Eh, I don't mind Justin Bieber. Kinda respect the fact that he's making millions and hasn't reached 20 yet. He's found something that works, and rolls with it. Kind of like the Kardasians or Jersey Shore.

I don't like them though. Frankly, I don't like anyone who makes more money then me by being an idiot (Jersey Shore).

Instead, I've decided to take my rage out on Kidz Pop or whatever the hell it's called. The last thing I need to hear is MY favourite musicians having their songs butchered by auto-tuned teens.

Yeah, I don't like Twilight, but I hate it where everywhere I look I see jokes about how it sucks. WE GET IT, WE REALLY DO.

I generally dislike the musicians of today, just because they get paid VAST amounts of money for producing utter shite.... shite that sells yes but shite nevertheless! :3

I also hate BT broadband for making my life a living hell, when someone else in my house opens up a single webpage, my ingame latency shoots to like 999...... Fuck you BT you suck!

Umm... how about you just don't decide to be a "hater" at all?

There really isn't a point to it. They don't care about you, and chances are your opinion of them will never be known anyway. Also... there are much more productive things to do with your time, such as self-improvement or having fun with friends. :3

But that's just my opinion. Going around looking for things to hate just does not make sense to me.

Huggly friends are better. <3
I agree with this post and your fondness of "hugglys". Hugglys are in fact the best :3.

Yeah, I'm gonna jump on the "I don't hate Bieber" bandwagon... even though I've NEVER hated Bieber. How could I hate someone I've never met, who's songs I've never listened to, who caters to a group of people I don't belong to, which doesn't affect me in the slightest?

Not only that, but I have to give him two gold stars: One for the fact that he's not afraid to make fun of himself (as with the previously mentioned Ozzy Osbourne commercial), and that apparently, he worked his ass of to get where he is, which I respect.

I will not, however, stop hating Jersey Shore. That show is awful, the people are awful, and it gives off the impression that everyone from Jersey is like that. It's an insulting show, not just to people from Jersey, but to anyone who watches it.
I'm gonna have to go ahead and quote this for truth. And while I'm at it, I think I'll take care of another common internet hatred target: Rebecca Black, who I don't hate and have never hated. She's 14. She's not a professional. She wasn't even TRYING to be a professional. Therefore, she every right to be bad at things. BECAUSE SHE'S 14 FUCKING YEARS OLD. Hell, that song is pretty much exactly what you would expect a 14 year old girl to make on her spare time.

I've thought it was stupid to hate on Beiber. He makes bad songs and gets money. I see no problem with him doing whatever the fuck he wants.

I dislike JB in the same way I dislike curry. I ignore both as nether have an effect on me and if someone offers me one, I can simply say no.

However what really bugs me is some of the religious people in my class. Seriously, if your going to take a class on Theology and Religion, yet not even try to see the point of the many lectures we have, why bother taking the class? And then they complain the course is biased when they get bad grades.

I hate people who get worked up about every tiny thing and can't just laugh. There are so many politically correct groups around that ***** about EVERYTHING! It's just rediculous now. There was a report on a light hearted news show tonight about kids shouldn't take packed lunches to school because they could get food poisioning. Seriously, what the hell. I took lunch to school almost every day and never once had food poisioning. It not just groups though it seems like everyone has to be politically correct about something, whether it be about parenting, racism whatever. People can't just sit back and brush things off anymore.

You know this thread gave me some hope that Phlake's thread worked in inspiring others to stop the hate and start the love. Now it's stop hating what everyone hates and have a 'hate niche.' Why don't you instead start a thread of love? Share your love for something :). Don't say 'I hate it when.' Say 'I love it when.' Don't say 'stop doing X.' Say 'start doing X.'

And yes huggly friends are much better.

Yes I know it sounds funny coming from a guy with a depressing album as an avatar.
