Whenever I'm watching a youtube music video, there's always the person who's like, "I'm X years old and I love this music," (which I don't give a crap about), or "Noone likes this music anymore, it's all pop nowadays," (which is usually completely untrue.) I don't mind the "X people disliked this and therefore are Y," comments so much, because there's occasionally a clever one.

I'm sick of how every time a member or a group of people who are a part of a certain religion/worldview/philosophy etc. go and use that as an excuse to do something stupid, people take that as an excuse to bash everyone in said religion/worldview/philosophy. The majority of religious people aren't bigoted, self-righteous, moralizing busybodies who hate science and force their views on others. And the majority of atheists aren't bitter, soulless douchebags who hate god and seek to bring the end of all morality. Most of the people in both camps are just normal people who want to live their lives and are embarrassed whenever someone gives them a bad name.

I think people just get irritated when something they don't enjoy is constantly pushed in their faces by fans and media. It isn't just MLP fans either, it's hardcore fans of anything really.

I don't try to change people's views... but everyone in my family tries to force Christianity onto me... As in I was born baptized, so ergo, your one of god's "children", yeah you almost drowned an infant, so he has to automatically believe in god.
