Call of Duty, I hear it A LOT at school, and when Black Ops was released? Oh, hell. Everyone was talking about it and even the teachers sometimes mention it or make analogies to it. JUST SHUT UP ABOUT IT. JESUS.

Also, MLP. Look, I have no problem with people liking it, but its fandom is getting... QUITE annoying... I can bear it usually, since I'm a member here and there are a lot of them here, but it being so widespread is annoying.

Ok well I will take the mantle here and say I am sick of the fans. I had no idea the escapist was full of female toddlers but apparently it is.

You people seem to have trouble understanding that some people may like a show. Just don't watch the fucking show if it bothers you so much, no one is forcing this shit on you.

At this point I think you guys are just projecting.

i have watch about 3 episodes of this and i still think its total crap(I am very open minded so you know)but you have to watch it so as to see from their point of view as to why they like it.

Seconded. I'm a big brony, and I hate the particularly obnoxious, constantly meme-referencing fans, but the people who complain about it constantly are a thousand times worse.

I don't think the fact that people liking a Cartoon is bothering people, but that it constantly gets shoved in our faces wherever we go nowadays. I got used to it here, but I'm seeing it show up EVERYWHERE ELSE and I admit that gets a tad annoying.

I barely complain about it, but that doesn't change the fact that it's starting to get on my nerves. We get it, you're all big fans of the show, but I'd like to see something other than Ponies wherever I go on the internet...

Again. It's just seeing it everywhere that bothers me. Eventually it "infects" some of my friends and they start posting Pony pictures everywhere. It gets very annoying.

And I have been ignoring it for a long while now, for as long as I was here since that craze seems very prevalent here... And I have no problem with it from seeing it a lot, but sometimes things get hard to ignore when it's all you see in some places.

People who complain because a sequel to their favourite game is nothing like their favourite game. Deus Ex 3, the upcoming Xcom reboot, Age of Empires Online, stuff like that. Expecting those kinds of games to work in today's market is stupid. Count your blessings the franchise survives and that people care about it enough to actually make another game out of it. No-one's going to make a game just for you nerds anymore.

Especially the MW3 vs BF3 flame war that's currently raging.

They both cater to different tastes in the genre. Apples and oranges people. They both do some things right, they both do some things wrong, they both have asshats in the playerbase, and both companies are evil, evil corporate money machines. Can we move beyond this and just get back to gaming?

El Shaddai. It looks like an awesome game, but I'm tired of having to watch the trailer every time I watch an Escapist video.

Also: console wars, game wars, little kids with mics, people whining about today's culture and music, people going on and on and on about nostalgia, the media blaming games, complaining in general, hype, boycotts, forcing memes that were funny for a few minutes, and incessantly repeating catchphrases.
