you dont like games where you can put a cat on your gun and use it as a silencer?heavymedicombo said:really? I think the OP means good games.TriggerHappyAngel said:- Postal 2
He has a low end machine so maybe GTA Vice City or San Andreas, Mass Effect 1 & 2 should be fine for you if you lower the graphics settings. The Gothic games are pretty good fun as well, you don't need to have played the others to understand the story but it may seem confusing when you first start playingFunkiest Monkey said:Seriously, this guy nailed it in the first post.Snarky Username said:Nearly any Zelda game, Shadow of the Colossus, the Fallout series, The Elder Scrolls series, and Red Dead Redemption are a few.
I guess I'd throw in GTA 4, Burnout Paradise, and Mass Effect 1 & 2.
When first found about the exploding heads and stuff I thought that it was awesome. Now, for the weirdest reason, I get this big lump in my throat whenever I think about its grossness.heavymedicombo said:yea yea. It isnt just boring it is disgusting for the sake of being disgusting.NeoGunHero said:Read my quote on his post.heavymedicombo said:really? Have that on the Oblivion GOTY.Mechsoap said:fallout 3 goty edition anyone?
PC specs above.LordCuthberton said:The only clue to OP's gaming platforms is "outdated PC games". If he told us what platforms he had, us users could narrow down our suggestions.warprincenataku said:I swear, people don't read posts any more.
The fact is that post gave out examples for games on different platforms, which is fine. Don't start complaining about the lack of people reading the thread, complain about the lack of information given in the thread
In regards to Fallout not running on his PC, I guess you never played Fallout 1 & 2?
If I can run them on my outdated laptop, I'm confident he can too.
I'm quite surprised that wasn't reported by the PETA.TriggerHappyAngel said:you dont like games where you can put a cat on your gun and use it as a silencer?heavymedicombo said:really? I think the OP means good games.TriggerHappyAngel said:- Postal 2![]()
Well, you know what they say: The more the merrier. And plus how video games are evolving, I might need to upgrade my video card and/or processor in about a year or so.Cowabungaa said:You REALLY don't need so much RAM with a CPU and GPU like that. 4GB Is just fine.NeoGunHero said:[AMD Athlon 64 x2 +6000 @2.98GHz
4gb RAM
99GB Master HDD, 136GB HDD (I know, I know. I bought the computer for $500 because I had a good processor.)
nVidia GeForce 9600 GT (plus PhysX for Mirrors Edge and Batman)
Gonna upgrade my RAM to 8 or 12 GB and Insert another HDD to 512GB.
That said, you can always check older RPG's like Arcanum and the first 2 Fallouts, but your computer is beefy enough to run the likes of Oblivion and Fallout 3 comfortably.
May I remind you that he didn't say PC only. He said that he has old games on his PC. So he doesn't mind old games.warprincenataku said:Zelda... not on PC.Snarky Username said:Nearly any Zelda game, Shadow of the Colossus, the Fallout series, The Elder Scrolls series, and Red Dead Redemption are a few.
Fallout and Oblivion may not run on his computer and Red Dead Redemption is a Console Game only.
I swear, people don't read posts any more.
But it's a waste of money. If I were you I'd save that money and just buy an entirely new computer in a year or so. Your motherboard would start slowing you down too, and limiting your choice of CPU's.NeoGunHero said:Well, you know what they say: The more the merrier. I have a friend that knows a friend. My friends friend torrented Windows 7 for me and it works amazing good, well, for a torrent that is.Cowabungaa said:But it's a waste of money. I'm going to do the same thing, my computer is quite similar to yours. I've tinkered and added stuff to it for about 2 years now, and it's pretty much at it's peak upgrade-wise. Hell, it's already bottlenecking as my new GPU is a DX11 one and I'm still running Windows XP.
Same, but I don't really trust a torrented OS. Call me paranoid. I'll wait with Windows 7 until I get myself a new computer.NeoGunHero said:I have a friend that knows a friend. My friends friend torrented Windows 7 for me and it works amazing good, well, for a torrent that is.
Hmmm meh. It works good enough. I actually think it was a crack instead of a torrent, if theres a difference.Cowabungaa said:Same, but I don't really trust a torrented OS. Call me paranoid.
