Yes, I know I'm looking for a needle in a hay stack. However, does anyone know a good Wii game they could suggest? I'll tell you if I already have what you are suggesting.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Best game on the Wii to play with some friends over.

Prince of Persia Two Thrones.
Well I liked it, and it worked ok for me on Wii. (though some dagger wall spots seemed iffy)

Metroid prime 3. A FPS puzzle shooter that actually works on the wii.

Or you could wait for the trilogy release, which has prime 1, 2, and 3 all bundled together, and working on the wii. Thats like, a lot of hours of gameplay.

Twilight Princess is good if you're looking to lose yourself in a game for a bit. It has a lovely slow-burning opening section that's great for immersion.

On the action side, Tomb Raider Anniversary is the best action game I've played on Wii. Less reliant on waggling than No More Heroes, plus it's essential if you've ever played TR1.

Madworld is pretty good too, and I've heard good things about Smash Bros.

No More Heroes, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Metroid Prime Trilogy (it's coming out sometime soon), and Super Mario Galaxy. Those are my choices, at least.

Okay...
No More Heroes
Brawl
Metroid Prime 3 (or, if you want to spoil yourself, the New Play Control trilogy pack)
Super Mario Galaxy
Madworld
Resort (if you're after quick fun)
World of Goo (WiiWare)
Lostwinds (also WiiWare)
Animal Crossing (Choose your subtitle)
Resi 4 (that is, the Wii version)
Lego >insert series<
Happy yet?

Gamecube games.

Yes I'm being a bit pedantic, but all Cube games work on Wii. So there's plenty of excellentgames for you to work through on the cheap right there (the Cube controller just plugs in the top of the console).

Otherwise what More fun to compute said.

In March next year Monster Hunter 3 comes out on the Wii. Monster Hunter games are for people with dedication and skill, they aren't easy and they will eat up so much of your time. If you have a PSP then pick up Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, it will last you until March and you can easily put over 500 hours into it because it can never be truly completed. A word of warning though it is very slow to begin with, it will take probably 10 hours to get into the swing of things but once you get to around the third set of missions you will be addicted. The combat is in real-time rather than turn based so it requires a lot of patience, the monsters hit hard and fast. It takes a long time to get used to but it is so rewarding, Monster Hunter is probably my favourite game series of all time and in Japan it is a cultural phenomenon. Look up some vids, you won't regret it.

(/monster hunter is awesome rant)

Yeah good luck.

In all honesty though, Twilight Princess is the only game that has really impressed me on the Wii so far. And it's been a looooooong time. I gave up on Nintendo a while back, and it broke my heart.
