Drum & Bass and Dubstep are the mainstream's answer to hard electronic, with gabber and industrial sitting in the subcultural end. The actual heavy end is a genre that doesn't really have an established name, but seems to encapsulate acts described as "noise", "breakcore", "gabba", and "terrorcore". Anything produced by the Bloody Fist label is a sound introduction to this end of things, Nasenbluten being the staple.

Disclaimer: Be careful with acts described as "noise", this term is also used for the more experimental industrial acts, which can land you listening to the same sine wave loop for twenty minutes. Some of the stuff isn't too bad, I don't mind Noisex or Download, but it's not the real thing.

Some lesser known acts that are a bit harder that I like:

(Hex [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfTzjCcKJSo&feature=related] is good too)

(Policia [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crpvpIRVX1o&feature=related] too)

Probably better known:

That should get you started.

You would of read it so many times already but ill just throw it in too. Dubstep.

However its a young genre from what I know, its possible to be split into different categories for more distinct sound sometime. Who knows.

May I suggest you check out "SKisM - Power" as an into to Dubstep
Following that, have a listen to "Chrispy - Inspector Gadget"
One of my recent favorites is called "Kraddy - Andriod Porn"
Finally if you are looking for more faster paced dubstep try "Doctor P remix - Love goes down" However skip like 1 minute in as the intro is lame :p

If you share my taste and search for a heavy electric sound you should enjoy these like I do

Well, Pendulum has some good stuff that may or may not fit the bill.

-Tempest Snip-

This is one of my favorites of theirs.
It's really good.
YES.
Pendulum are fucking awesome, and Tempest never gets enough mentions. Truly epic song.

OT: I guess this falls under 'Electronic'.
And I'd class it as aggressive, I and all my mates would mosh to this.
Even if you don't end up liking it, just... watch the video anyway.
You won't be expecting what you see, trust me.

EDIT: To the guy above who posted Shikari's Zzzonked AND Pendulum's Vulture....
...words cannot describe your awesomeness.

Bit of Clowncore anybody? An interesting genre of music I came across lately. It's a bit odd, but bear with it until it drops. Also search Life4Land.

Was on suspension when I saw this thread so my reply might be a bit late, but if you want aggressive electronic music then a you might want to check into the "aggrotech"-genre (don't know how official it is though, but several songs I've heard have been referred to as "aggrotech"). Cybergoth and dark electronica might also yield some results that you might be looking for.

I guess the main question bottles down to if you're looking for aggressive electronic music that you can actually dance to, or more chaotic/psychadelic stuff that you just listen to. Because there's certainly artists in both respective categories.

Here's a few that I like:

Some rave/hardcore/gabber stuff also tend to fall into the aggressive sounding category. Might want to check out "Nosferatu" and "Rotterdam Terror Corps" for that.
