I'm looking for something that's hard to find: An unbiased news source. Any ideas?

I'm doing a paper on Media Bias, no matter which political affiliation they lean towards, and still can't find an unbiased news source to use an example.

Any help in finding one is appreciated. It's allowed to be a news website, too.

The BBC is a pretty good bet.

Mind you, every western news media is biased towards... well, the west. It can't be helped.

BBC America is the most un-biased news source I know of, but I'm sure you've already looked there.

Hah! Good luck. If I could find one I'd be straight in there as a consumer of said news source. Even my university student newspaper isn't unbiased, though they're much better than the tabloids. Closest I can think of is Reuters, to be honest...

Yep. But even they have had allegations of bias towards Israel.

And that is useful to this thread how? Consider yourself reported...

ALL HAIL THE HYPNOTOAD, MOST UNBIASED OF REPORTERS

Just avoid Fox News or MSNBC. The first is biased by nature of being greedy corporate whores. The second is based by nature of trying to counteract greedy corporate whores.

All sources of information are inherently biased, the closest you can get to an unbiased source is to use as many as possible to average it out.

?

Kinda an over-reaction.

Would National Geographic count? (Yes they do cover more than just history and wildlife.) Plus, their photography is always incredible, so that's a plus.

BBC is the best bet you've got.

Even the BBC will carry a slight tinge of bias - it's unavoidable. Where that bias leans to is for YOU to discover...

CNN is about the closest you will ever get to unbiased reporting in this country. CNBC is also fairly unbiased as well.

BBC is the least bias in my eyes. There's a bit of one, but it's as close to center compared to others.

CNN is actually quite left-wing.

In a way, I use both. I watch both of them to see both sides of the story.

Aside from the BBC the only way to really have unbiased news is to report it yourself.
It may be dangerous but hey, you may get to be awesome as this guy.
