I shouldn't be the first one to suggest My Little Pony: Friendship is magic but... apparently i am. For Live-Action shows: I'd strongly recommend Twin Peaks. If you don't mind an older show i'd recommend The Prisoner too. But stay away from the remake!

I notice an absence of Babylon 5 in your list I don't know how it has aged because I watched it when it first broadcast, but it was amazing then.

You say Dr Who, but have you watched all of them? Try and get some Tom Baker series, The Face of Evil, Genesis of the Daleks, The Robots of Death, City of Death, and The Pirate Planet are all pretty good ones.

If you haven't seen Deadwood or The Wire, these two shows deserve the hype they get. Truly superb television those two. Al Swearengen and Omar Little are the two of the greatest anti-heroes ever written.

West Wing yes.

Twin Peaks yes.

You list is lacking the awesomeness of Game of Thrones. If you didn't see it, you have deprived yourself of one of the best shows of the century (thus far).

The HBO "Rome" series is pretty good. I don't know if it's your thing.
It somewhat feels like a crossbreed of "Lion at winter" and "Gladiator" with a few handful of a soap-opera and a softporno (if that makes any sense).
It's set in one of the most exciting parts of ancient roman history, features good acting and presents itself epic.
I can only recommend it, if you are into this sort of thing.

Also: awesome intro-sequence.

captcha: common law..... indeed

Pulp sport: A funny show in newzealand that despite being about sports still manages to be absolutely hillarous. They once managed to sneak 100 cans of beer into a game of cricket

The two people who run the show also went on britans got talent and owned simon

You might like torchwood which is like a slightly more adult version of doctor who starring captain jack harness. Its not nearly as good as doctorwho but its generally decent if you want something to tide you over while waiting for a new season of the doctor. There was also a kiddy version of doctor who starring sarah Jane but I cant remember if thats any good or not

Full metal alchemist and deathnote are two fantastic anime,s (wtf is the plural for that) which me and most other people hold in high regard. Although the manga is better for both those shows
Another anime Id reccomend would be welcome to the n.h.k which is about an antisocial shutin nerd who never goes out side coming out.

Youve probably already heard abput this one due to the shitton of threads about it and the fact that its the 3rd largest group on this site good cartoon Id reccomend would be mylittle pony:freindship is magic AND ONLY FiM. Evrey other mlp season is shit. The characters are well developed the animations good and the jokes are genuinely funny. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xczDd2_X0DI

I can agree with this. If you're even remotely interested in Roman history you'll probably really enjoy it. I just finished watching it tonight, for the first time, coincidentally enough. I loved it except for the actor switch on Octavian in season two. I know they had to "age" him but it was still really weird and I didn't like the new actor at all.

MR.SHOW It's the best sketch comedy show ever made. Period. Every great comedian of today got their start there.
except for a small few who got started on
THE STATE.
