It shows for 5.99 pounds(I guess?) on the Eidos website but i'm not in a country serviced by there website (USA West coast). I'm looking for a downloadable copy because its cheaper and less of a wait. Any help guys? I saw something saying it was free also but i think it may be a hoax or conspiracy.

There's always E-Bay too. Probably more expensive than Steam, but if you're in a blackout area it might work.

Ha... I c wud u did dar.

Steam is the only way to go really. Also, get the shifter mod, as it greatly improves upon the original but doesn't change anything to the plot (well, there is one tiny little thing, but it's likely you will miss it on your first run through).

Don't be tempted to get Invisible war though... you'd be better off flushing your money down the toilet.

*REDACTED* Sorry, double posted on accident. Ive never played before and i was bouncing between getting Minecraft or Deus Ex. Still a lil iffy about wich one to get $9.99 for Deus Ex(On Steam) or Minecraft for $21.95. Minecraft has alotta replayability but Deus Ex is cheaper. what would you guys suggest?

You can currently find the first Deus Ex:
- On Steam
- On E-bay
- In my garbage.
I hated the game's controls, combat, visuals, and the fact that it claimed 'realism'. Bullshit. Point blank headshots should kill in one shot, especially random grunts. Also, the story was snore-worthy and the voice-acting laughably bad.
I really don't like it.

Edit: shit Sorry. Forgot I promised it to someone else the other night.
Anyway, I say go for DX. Mostly because I don't enjoy minecraft but also because its a classic for good reason :p

Above: I found the first one on a DOS game site, maybe check one of those?

As said, Steam. Maybe pick up invisible war as well, since they come bundled.

I play Minecraft, and love it. I have only played the first level in Deus Ex, and I love it as well. Minecraft has more 'game time' if you can call it such in the game, while Deus Ex has numerous different scenerios, and ways of doing things, and is half the price; I've HEARD the original averages 20 hours per one playthrough, I don't know the accuracy of such a statement. I enjoyed the little time I played in Deus Ex more then in Minecraft. They are two of the finest games I have ever played. Get both, $31 is a great price for one decent game, you would be buying to magnificent ones.

Are you aware of how old it is?

Well, Steam is about the best deal you'll get on it... but you can find it used in some places, packaging and all, for around $20 (amazon is a good example).
