I'm not a grammar Nazi, but...

...it still bothers me when people mispell words that are really easy to get right.
I understand if someone makes a mistake because they are hasty, or because they simply mistyped, but when someone continuously spells words that a 5th grader would know, I have a hard time listening to their arguments and opinions.

Whether you are a full blown grammar Nazi or not, I am sure there are some errors people make, that bother you.
What are some that really grate your cheese?

Well for starters there's the people that make mind numbing analogies about cheese.

I'm joking for course, in all seriousness I can mostly overlook grammar until it gets to the point of being multiple words over and over again. Especially with the advent of browsers like Firefox having a spell check built in. And With IE I BELIEVE finally adding that in, there's really no excuse for it.

The only mistakes that really "grate my cheese" all that bad on the first shot are the miss uses of sentence construction. Like people misunderstanding the use of: their, there, and they're.

Even then, it's only because it's so common a kind of knowledge, and SO easy to know what the difference is and when to use them that it bothers me so much.

For me it's only the words that, when misspelled, become other words. They're/Their/There is a classic example, but there are many others.

Yeah, thats a big one for me.
When the word they are getting wrong, completely changes the meaning of their sentence, or turn it one of sentence make sense no.

I'm bothered about excessive chat speak, there is no reason to ever say "tht" or "wen" because those are short words to begin with.

As for misspelling, I don't usually care. I would be lying if I said I didn't make the occasional obvious spelling mistake.

You know what really bug's me? You know what really drive's me up the fucking wall's? When people abuse those poor apostrophe's! What did these poor little punctuation mark's ever do to deserve such horrible thing's done to them? It make's me want to grab the person and pluck out their eye's, break their finger's and painstakingly smash each of the key's on their keyboard!

There is a group of people that use the word spite like the word despite. I'm not certain if this is a cultural thing and I'm just being insensitive or if this is a generational thing or I don't know what. Assuming not the cultural thing, I would like it to stop.
Also, I hate the word till being used as until. That's held over from that time I read Twilight.
