on a side note, enlighten me. You identify yourself as a goth. What qualifies you to assume that label? Personally I hated the 90's. It's more than your clothes or selection of music I assume. My friends who were goths were indulgent emotions such as despair and loathing. Some of them wrote poetry, other got into cutting, etc. They all just sort of quit around age 19 though.

Labels like goth get tossed around pretty lightly.

1. I just checked his stuff... yes, he is for real, and no, he has absolutely NO idea what he's talking about. He suffers the same problem as WBC, in that he takes Bible verses out of context and warps them beyond recognition, ignoring other parts that go against what he says. He's an idiot, and I'm ashamed to be part of the same religion (technically) as him.

I am not a full on "goth", I am like goth light ... no, not emo, I dress all in black but normal looking jeans, normal looking tops, normal looking coats. Not like trench coat down to my ankles, new rocks, dyed black hair etc. It's not something to get worked up over, just some ignorant guy spouting hate under the cover of anonymity.

If that guy met a goth in real life I bet he wouldn't say a word to them.

There are over 6 billion people in the world, everybody is different. It stands to reason that each of those 6 billion will hate something different, everything is bound to be hated by atleast one person. The internet is just a safe place to spout that hate.

Just post a link on there forums to your own site "I hate people who hate goths", it should be interesting.

You are right about how labels ar tossed around a lot. But goth just seemed to fit for me. I wear a lot of black(most of the time), I like the music, I like the art work, and I have some very good freinds who are also goth. I don't write poetry or cut my self. I just call my self goth because it fits me easily.

That picture is kind of unrepresentative because even though Stephen Hawking has Lou Gerhig's disease, he is one of the smartest men alive. He is most certainly not mentally handicapped.
