In the last little while there has been an immense amount of MW2 threads. I'm sorry to those sick of them that I am adding another one. Hopefully enough time has passed that this post won't recieve any ire. (apologies also to questionable sentence structure)

This one however, is not about the game content as such.

Here's the issue. I got for my birthday a enough credit in voucher form for the Playstation store to buy myself MW2. However, to my great annoyance I find that MW2 is not on the Playstation Store. Here we have myself with enough "fake" money to buy MW2 via internet but not enough real money to buy the hardcopy.

Why is MW2 not on the PS Store and do you know if it will gracing the store any time soon?

And as a side note, do you know where I can get a hardcopy for cheap if it won't be going on the PS store you don't know if it will be.

Umm... Because the PSN Store doesn't sell PS3 games. It will not show up in this console generation, so you'll wait at least 5 years. I think it has absolutely 0 chance of coming, except for being re-released ten or so years from now (very slim chance).

As for cheap hardcopy... eBay?

OK... why don't you email Sony and ask them. What makes you think any of us know when it'll be in the store?

If you want a copy for cheap, get one used or go on craigslist. The game just came out, so good luck to you finding a cheap copy.

Because PSN Store is not for current retail releases, it's an extremely large game to download and the answer is no.

MW2 isn't and will never be on the PS store.

But there are plenty of great arcade games you could use your money on.

Because most PS3 games aren't available for release over the PSN store. While there are a few, it's only the PSP that has it's whole catalog (almost) available.

You'll have to settle with buying old titles, indie titles, or expansion packs.

That's what PSN is good for.
