Conceal the collectors edition of Skyrim? That would be quite the feat. That thing is huge.Princess Trollestia said:When you purchase it make sure to conceal it on the way out.
And yet, he's kinda right. You gotta be honest, perhaps not shooters in general, and the RPG fan one is probably false for the large majority, but COD fans don't have a good track record for being wonderful people (anyone else laugh out loud at the latest live action trailer? Yeah, I can totally see an experienced player helping out a newby...), this kind of thing just isn't at all likely to happen with RPG fans, or hell, people who aren't COD fans (no offence to COD fans, but if you've been online, you know who's dirtying your name).MrDeckard said:I will explain why I am not worried with these pictures:
Modern Warfare fans usually look like this:

Yes, I am stereotyping. Yes, this is offensive. I am a horrible person. Deal with it.

They'd use an Axe.
Why dont you have the ability to lock threads after you badass them?Daystar Clarion said:Find yourself being mugged for your copy of Skyrim?
No problem!
As a newly appointed Dovahkiin, dragon shout your assailant's ***** ass into the stratosphere.
Remember:
'Fus Ro Dah', and muggers won't get far.
I haven't got to the part of the game where I've unlocked that ability.Lt. Vinciti said:Why dont you have the ability to lock threads after you badass them?Daystar Clarion said:Find yourself being mugged for your copy of Skyrim?

Heh.
OnTopic: Its Skyrim...it doesnt cause violence....Call of Duty however has a couple of strikes against it....
You paid $70 extra for a cheap plastic dragon model???... I'd say you have been robbed already.AMMO Kid said:Okay, let me explain. I just finished reading the thread about the guy who followed a guy home and used a gun to try to steal his MW3 copy [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/7.322205-Modern-Warfare-3-Fan-Fends-Off-Really-Stupid-Thief]. The point of this thread is, I'm petrified. I have the $150 collector's edition of Skyrim preordered, not the normal version, so I would be more likely to be robbed than anyone. I really want to go pick this game up and play it all night long, but now I really feel like I should wait till the morning for this reason.
Thoughts? Are my fears valid or over-hyped? I've never been to a midnight launch so I don't know what to expect...

Well actually, I think Elder Scrolls Players are rather a decent bunch of introverted and lonely nerds with the urge to play single player games and not to be obnoxiously stupid, yell insults over team speak while teabagging their latest kill. So I don't think they are the group that will assail you and steal your copy of Skyrim. It would be out of character.
Mine too, not the point though.jawakiller said:Easily my favorite B film in a while.easternflame said:Have you seen hobo with a motherfuckin' shotgun? Yup.
