A final fantasy FPS... Think Vincent (close combat and magic), Irvine (Sniper) , Barret (Heavy Weapons) and Laguna[footnote]I know that there are now 2 characters from FFVIII, but the lack of Final Fantasy characters with guns made it difficult! I thought of Sazh, but his dues pistol, and speed as too close to vincent, so the only way I could ballence the classes (of this made up game that will not happen anyway) was to use Laguna! His assault rifle is cool anyway![/footnote] (assault Rifles).

It would play very similary to Borderlands, but with FF-esque graphics, and the chance to shoot up a few cactuars, tonberrys, marlboros, flans and bombs... and you can ride Chocobos and use airships to get to different continents/ cities... And also there would be more focus on keeping the characters to their primary gun types, due to the fact these are what they traditionally have!

Myst as a Lara Croft style game
you mean Uru? well, almost.

soooo...:
Skyrim as a strategy game, with the dragon born as secret weapon of last resort.
Tetris as an FPS.
Minecraft as another Lego franchise (WAAAAIT we are almost on this point already)
and hm... MODERN WARFARE WITH THE CONCEPT AND MECHANIC OF COOKING MAMA >:D
(damn my imagination is bad right now)

Uncharted Racing
You know Naughty Dog is building up to it, they just need a few more characters.
You mean "UnKarted"?
It would fit with Naughty Dog's track record.
PS1 Era: 3 Main Crash Bandicoot games, then Crash Team Racing
PS2 Era: 3 main Jak games and then the Jak racing game
PS3 Era: 3 main Uncharted games and then... The Last of Us?

That's it, The Last of US must actually be a kart racing game starring uncharted characters set in a post apocalyptic setting!

Morrowind in the style of those MYST or URU games. Exploring dwemer ruins like that....mmm.
Likewise, MYST/URU in the style of Morrowind.

Also, that last picture looks like a combination of Mewtwo and Nicol Bolas.

EDIT: Porrasturvat (also known as "Stair Dismount") as a survival horror game.
[small]So...many...stairs...[/small]

EDIT #2: MapleStory as a FPS game. Ooooohhh yeeaaaahh.

Anyone remember Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy? Probably not. PS2/Xbox era third person shooter enhanced with an ever-growing arsenal of psychic abilities. The things you could do with telekinesis alone was worth the price of admission. Sadly, the majority of the level design was focused on linear indoor environments, and you generally picked up a new power five seconds before an enemy whose only weakness is that power. You never really get the chance to feel like you're the unstoppable badass you become by game's end.

inFamous, Crackdown and Alex Mercer's Respray of Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction Prototype already showed us that a sandbox game with superpowers can work. WB Games is looking for a new license to develop after acquiring Midway and setting a definitive point on who can and cannot continue tormenting Batman. Hopefully, someone with more influence than a semi-anonymous forum poster has the pull to make this happen.
