I'm going to go with the standard, If my alternate self is female and attractive. Although I thank you for letting me have the context to share this.

The implications are based on taste but if we are going for love and not just attraction, I will say that one of those is a certain universes me, the other one is another universes version, and that just seems like your fairy tale verson of pure love.

Well, if it was a total opposite of myself, we would have totally opposites tastes & wouldn't get along at all.

The idea of it sounded weird at first, until I took a second to go look at myself in the mirror...

Yes.

Fucking hell that would be amazing.

Quite a while ago I decided that if I am ever to meet myself, we are to fuck immediately ever which-way.

We will then have a short conversation to determine just how much of a self-centered asshole I really am.

If we get along, we keep fucking.

If we can't stand each other, we fuck again and promise to keep in touch.

Well first of they'd be female, then she would look different, have a different name and having all these variables would mean she also lived an entirely different life.
Unless said universe is like the one from Season 2 of Red Dwarf, where everyone is the opposite gender, so they would live exactly the same life. All that would change would be name and appearance.

OT: I doubt I would. Honestly, I'm surprised my fiancée puts up with me, I certainly couldn't put up with myself. But this is the hypothetical, so let's assume this parallel version is tolerable and actually female. I imagine it could work quite well; the friends I've had with whom I've shared intellect and interests have always been great company, so it seems perfect.

I think parallel universe would mean it's neither incest nor masturbation, since they are, technically, a totally different person.

He dumps me because I remind him of what he'd have been if he hadn't gone to Ninja school.

Regrets, regrets...

We would make sweet love and have giant headed children. Also they would be a woman, for obvious reasons.

And considering that they are from another universe and are by necessity of the opposite sex I don't think there would be any good reason to be against it, save protecting the world from our superiorly cranially endowed children.
Since your genes would be the same, wouldn't that mean that the children would come out kind of Forrest Gump-ish?
Usually the first generation of inbreeding wont have much issues, inbreeding over time is where the problem starts. There are exceptions of course.

OT: I doubt I'd ever be able to fall in love with myself and even if I did we'd make a terrible couple. I don't think I would make a pretty girl either.
