Immersion-did it ever happen to you?

I was driving along a massive, yellow stretch of ground in Thailand and staring out the side of the jeep I was in. I could basically picture the grenade launcher from COD4 shooting out the window, just like in Act 1 of the game.

Play any resident evil game with the lights out at night for about 6 hours, and then have your printer inexplicably turn itself on and print something. Lets just say I didn't go anywhere without turning the light on that night.

meh....immersion is an overrated joke to me. I can honestly say i have never been immersed in a game, but it doesn't detract from my over all experience. I love games and all, but I honestly don't care if i don't feel like I am in the game world.
