I once ducked when I saw a military helicopter fly over my head while I was on my daily walk. I'd been playing too much Call of Duty 4.

Seriously, ever since I became a Thief aficionado I've always checked every place I go to for easy exits and hiding spots. It's also enhanced my talent for walking quietly.

One of my shoes squeaks when I walk and it's driving me NUTS.

After playing Half-Life 2 for the first time (the graphics were astounding for its time), I was outside and noticed how the light reflecting off the sidewalk reminded me of the game. Same thing happened with Oblivion, except looking out my window at some trees.
