there is nothing more in anything ever than to continue living forever.
sacrificing 5 of people close to me for the chance to see what i cant even imagine
i would do it but i would probably sulk for a while.
bonus:ten people for the full deal. yes, explore everywhere and test out so many scientific theories.
bonus:If they didn't know that i was doing it it wouldn't change my mind, they are going to die any way.
bonus:i really cant think of people i hate, or who hate me.

if you could absorb people like in prototype maybe. fairly messy but alright

But in general i wouldnt choose immortality and killing friends and loved ones would make me forget about it completely.

Nah, i wouldn't want to live forever for starters, and taking the lives of 5 people i cared about wouldn't cut it.

Bonus 1: imortality, i would literally become a super hero fighting for good, but i could imagine my methods of fighting crime in the uk would probably get me into serious moral dilema and would question whether what i was doing was actually good, so ill have to pass, if i was gona cchieve imortality i want it temporarily.

Bonus 2: No, remotely would make it worse! making it remote is just a buffer to yourself from resposability, and if you going to live forever and be imortal, you need to start that kind of journey with a strong grasp of responsability. shying away from such a thing is weak in my eyes.

Bonus 3: I still wouldn't do it. Those 50 to 100 random people could end up being people that have no effect on my life, people who are terminally ill or anyone else, but it's not my right to descide if those people die. if there's even the slightest chance i could cause the death of someone like a doctor, freedom fighter, musician or politican who brings hope and happiness to hundreds of people, in return for my own imortality, i would rather die.

If I could get past the period of self-loathing afterwards, knowing that I led 5 of the closest people to me to their untimely deaths for my sake, then perhaps. Over thousands of years I can easily see anyone succumbing to varying degrees of mental sickness as a result of those millenia of contemplation.

However if it was 20 - 50 people I hate I'd do it in a heartbeat.

No. Not at all. It would be a truly evil and cruel act that I would not do, not now, not EVER

Besides, who wants to live forever?

I'm not sure I care enough about most people for it work, but I'd give it my best shot. I'd give the warlock as many people as is necessary.

Bonus: What about ten people and you get the whole package - immortality and indestructibility. Nothing can ever kill you. I'd be more liberal with who I choose to die then, because the possibilities for doing good in the world to make up for their deaths would be endless.

.
This would leave you open to the unpleasant possibility of being encased in concrete, buried alive, launched into space, etc.

God no. I wouldn't want to live forever, I'd eternally know I'd killed those people and what I'd be doing would be incredibly evil.

I don't want to live on this world forever. Also, I don't really know other people or share strong emotional connections. I don't really hate other people either... The Warlock would be disappointed in me...

OT: no. i wouldn't harm another person.
bonus 1: double no. i wouldn't harm another person, and that would suck.
bonus 2: N/A. in both cases, i would know, and that's all that's relevant.
bonus 3: N/A. i don't hate anyone.

You guys do know how long forever is right?
You'll be here once Humans are extinct!
Youll probably be locked up before then because you are not evolving with the main species on the planet.
You WILL experience every disaster possible, YOU WILL 100%.
You can not kill yourself. You will be here even if you dont want too.
You will be here when the earth dies.
You will be here when our sun dies.
You will be here when the universe is finished with whatever it does.

Not to mention...
Our brains only have a certain amount of space in them. We are not Time Lords. We'll get Alzheimer's or some variant of memory disease.
Language is evolving just like species do, at some point you will sound like a an old timer even if you try to keep up with it.
You will have to learn how to fake your identity and avoid the coming technological picture archive.
Get ready to impersonate as your own children!

Sure. I don't particularly like most of my family, so picking five of them would be easy. Plus I'm really afraid of death if there's no afterlife.
