Depends how i'm feeling at the time I guess, eventually I will regret it but it would be nice to experience the world changing around me.

Well, hell yes but.... what happens when I outlive the planet? When what would otherwise be my corpse is melted down and bombarded with meteors over the millenia, when every particle that makes up my body is scattered over huge expanses of space and.... I'm still alive. The main thing is i'd want to know how the fuck it's possible to be granted immortality, in an otherwise perfectly rational universe.

I would on the conditions that: 1. I do not age, but stay in peak physical/mental shape (or at least have the capability of that - might go on a 100 junk food binge or something rofl). 2. Can not suffer from disease or sickness (able to get wounded is fine... I guess). 3. I can end my life somehow...

Happily be immortal. I've spent my life moving around so I'm used to temporary/short term friendships while appreciating those that stay long term. Immortality would just alter the scale.

The idea of immortality is immortal. But yeah, the constant cropping up of this same topic is annoying me.

Technically, I should really be dead by now, either from... the incident, or by the fact that I turned 110 last June. So I guess I am immortal, as well as invincible. It's alright I guess.

In a heartbeat. Friends are not forever and by the time you get old the majority of your family died(unless you got siblings, which I don't).

Well...I really really enjoy my own company, and the future seems pretty interesting. Why not? If I do become immortal, and get tired of it I'm sure we'll find a cure for it in the future anyway

Immortality isn't a disease though... It's a gift! or curse depending on perspective. But then you could say mortality isn't a disease, yet we have plenty 'cures' for that...

Anyway, I'd choose immortality... After much tearing of my soul lol

There is something i been thinking about for a while now. Lets say that you get offerd immortality. By who is not important, you just get the offer. You will live forever and you can't be killed by any weapon. The only problem is that only you become immortal. None of your friends or loved ones. Only you.
Would you become immortal if it where offerd to you?

I personally would never do it. If it meant i had to outlive my friends and loved ones i would never do it. How it must suck to become immortal only to spend eternety alone.

Sorry, man But not being able to be killed by weapons is invulnerablity. Immortality is immunity to age and disease, but you can still be killed by weapons. Think the elves from Lord of the Rings.

However, playing by your rules, I would not take the offer. Seeing as I would live until everything I know is dust, I'm almost certain that would drive me insane.
