Impossible dreams

I have a dream to swim across the Atlantic ocean without anything but my swimming trunks and my goggles. Similarly, I wanted to roast marshmallows in space, next to the sun. I know these things will never happen but I've always wanted to do them since I was a kid.

Do you have any dreams that you now realize will never come true? Or have you fulfilled such a dream, defying everyone's expectations?

I had a dream of taking on The Predator and Godzilla in a fight, clearly I died, but still it was a fun recurring dream to have in between those "special" dreams you have as a pubescent teen male.

I used to actually wake up sweating, now guess which dream I'm talking about.

I had a dream where I was playing Duke Nukem Forever. Does that count? I also had a dream where I could fly by playing a kazoo correctly. I have also had some good dreams about me fighting a medieval army and winning.

I have these horrible dreams sometimes that are full of fridge horror. Like the ability to teleport anywhere, but suddenly realizing I couldn't teleport back.

Yes but that dream is just evil, and should not be shared with anyone above the age of 8 years old, because it snaps adults back into the harsh reality they live in.

Kinda like never ending Ice Cream.

Own a bar where there's no "last call". It just can't be done... *whimpers in corner* Also, I want to go into space and see a nebula that's swirling around with power and tons of color (like you see in the movies).

I also remember reading somewhere about a little girl whose parents said "no dream is impossible". The girl just said "When I grow up I want to be a banana." So, yeah... A lot of dreams are indeed impossible to achieve.

My impossible dream? Live in the 60's.. Well atleast live in a world as i imagine the 60's to be.. i guess they probably weren't as cool as in my dreams but still! Back when phones and Tv's where new!!
