In a multiplayer match, at what point do you give up?

I never quit. If I'm playing Tf2 I just go spy and hide, go near their spawn, and knock out individuals as they come out or go scout and just harass stragglers.
If I'm playing Company of Heroes, I can rest in the knowledge that it is very common to make reversals in that game and I just need to take advantage of any weaknesses my enemy exposes to defeat him.
If it's Touhou Hisoutensoku, button spamming always provides an easy way out.

I normally quit about 1-5 minutes before I start playing at all. Not even playing online saves me a lot of headaches.

I quit if my team are sitting around doing sod all or if the other team are over-spawn camping. Basically when there's no "game" to actually play.
I get frustrated in BC2 sometimes because the matchmaking can be a bit fucked up.MR.Spartacus said:

I generally never quit. Even if everyone on my team left and the entire other team is still there, I'll still be fighting. But if I'm just not having fun at all, I just quit.
Oh, quite a few here, and really it's been alot more recent.
- The rest of the team who are not throwing their own weight.
- Bastards (on both teams) who spend most of their time killing at random and willing to run over their own teammates to take another kill. (got hit twice by a team member's car because he wanted the kill the opponent I was squaring off in Saints Row 2). That or they're a spoilsport that hates you because you are earning more points on them so thus they start to attack you at random. Yeah, had one or two of them x.x...
- EVERYONE RUNS OUT ON YOU. Within seeing the rosters of teams, then one person leaves, and another, and another. THe game starts, two more leave and you find yourself in a match of 6 vs. you and everyone is an UBER gamer that can take you out in one shot.
- Hackers. I am not exactly sure if it's a glitch, or just some retards setting my team up. It's happened twice recently though, one included the ability of invisibility in a match where ROcket Launchers are the key and they kill you before you can track their movements. The second was when the team were 'supermen' and could take several shotgun hits without dying, and despite the fact that I killed 8 of them (and I was the lousiest shot, mind you), somehow our team wasn't even scoring a point. We all quit soon after.
So really, there are many things, enough to where I don't even want to play Multiplayer more x.x;;

I have concidered quitting due to a cheater at one point (After several rounds of everyone in my team dying in the first ten seconds of a match, CS:S is terrible with cheaters), but then they messed up, and the satisfaction was so great it kept me going.

When my team is only camping around and not doing anything and I end up as the only one who's trying to do something. In Badcompany 2 it's really bad. It happens really often that the enemies are about to destroy an objective and no one tries to stop them, except me.

People say I rage quit because I leave games in Left 4 Dead 2 when we are losing horribly, and I mean like 400 points to 2400 or something.
Look it takes a lot to make me rage quit but if the game stops being fun because we are getting killed by people 100 times better than us 5 minutes after we leave the saferoom, we don't have to stay and listen to you tell us how much we suck when we return to the lobby.
I don't mind losing as long as I'm having fun while I'm getting my ass handed to me.
Another thing that will make me quit is if my team takes the game too seriously, it just feels like a chore when that happens.
