Mok'Lar ignored the comment from the human, he did not need to make friends, all he had on his mind was revenge. Revenge for his clan and for his father. He would not rest easy untill the emporer was dead and his clans honor returned.
"of course,of course" said bryyn retreating into the shadow of the old oak tree. He smiled at the thought that he may have made an actual genuine friend rather than one looking to take advantadge of his reasonable wealth.
adeline stands under a tree a little away from the group. she watches the horizon, not paying attention to what is going on around her.
Ishmial looked upon his companions and immediatly decided that most, if not all,seemed like they were loners. He had been once but he knew from experience that it didn't get anywhere, at the most it just ticked a lot of people off and made doing buisness a lot harder for others since they had to put up with these attitudes. At least there was one person who he could confirm wasn't one and that was the human named Xandus.
He decided that he would rather talk with him than any of these mopey idiots(until they proved that they wern't loners and that his opinion had been misplaced) so he went up and introduced himself to Xandus.
"Figured i would take the iniciative and tell you my name before you come up and asked me. It's Ishmial.", He said simply before waiting for Xandus or the girl to respond.

Adeline snaps out of whatever thoughts she was having and turns to Xandus, smiling brightly
"oh! hello, my name is Ade-"
she is cut off by ishmial, infuriating her.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I must have not heard you. I thought you wern't answering so i figured that in the meantime i would get my introduction out of the way. I mean't no offence." Ishmial said with sincerity in his voice. Of course, he had heard her, he just forgot to stop, a slight mistake that he usually detected and would stop before it happened(I've actually seen this happen/done this in real life).

adeline is surprised for a moment, but then crosses her arms at the khajit and violently turns her head from him. in truth she is a little taken aback at his response.

she is a little embarrassed that she got so distracted

"thank you, I didnt expect to meet anyone so... polite in this group."
she looked around at the others, completely unaware of xandus' origins.
"to tell the truth, some of them seem like assassins and mercenaries, more suited to the emperors army than against it."
she sighed
"still, good to make a new friend at the start of things, isnt it?"

"Do not make friends so hastily, They confuse in battle and make you care too much." Mok'Lar remarked at the silly human girls comment. He gave a small chuckle as he looked at the trio standing by the tree.
Bryyn laughed as he caught a bit of adelines words "dont be too quik to assume we're bad adeline" he sneered "you'll find we're quite deadly" and with tat he retreated into the shadows once more
