In Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion what do you think your character was in prison for at the beginning?

My character Was always a thief with a heart of gold.

(My thief characters are always female wood elves)

She was arrested for stealing from a corrupt guard captain who was extorting gold out of the beggers and poor.
The captain was found to be corrupt by the other guards and attacked my chracter out of revenge, but didn't count on the poisons she coats her blades with.

Dispite revealing the corruption of a guard captain my character was arrested for killing him......even if it was in self defense.

I'd go on about my male characters like my mage but frankly I like the sound of my wood elf's story better.

I was put in jail for trying to assassinate the Emperor. Then I was put in the same cell he needed to go through to escape, so he decided to let me out because the lack of feedings in the prison had made me so weak that I couldn't do anything more than knock him out.

I tried to steal some stuff from the emperor but some guards saw me, the emperor saw me in a haze of being awake, so he thinks he saw me in his dreams.

Just came up with this xD

Well...I just learned to cast fire, but I had learned it studying on the toilet. Damn beans, I tried to hold it in! IF THEY DON'T WANT BOOKS TO BURN THEY SHOULD MAKE THEM FIREPROOF!

EDIT:this has become my favorite thread on the whole forum.

I think mine was probably a case of mistaken identity. Mine's a good girl!
Either that, or she had sex with the King's wife or something. And, for the record, the Queen totally enjoyed it ;)

John the Gamer said:
I've always thought that the city in oblivion is waaaaaay too small to be the capital of the entire empire thing.

I second that thought, the city was just far to small to be the capital city of an entire empire.
The castle of each town like Skingrad and Bruma should have a castle the same size as the capital while the capital should be about 15 times larger with better looking defences and an actual army to defend it.

This is why I LOVE Oblivion, because it lets you fill in so many blanks about yourself and your past, not to mention all the assumptions that can be drawn from various parts of the game. (Martin=Gay?)

Anyway, I like to asume that I went of a killing spree with an enormous purple dildo, frolicking about whilst humiliating and destroying the city watch in a matter of hours. That's why they have me on such close watch.
