In Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion what do you think your character was in prison for at the beginning?

I had sex with the kings wife and daughter then killed the king and all the guards with one swipe of my gutiar played an awsome solo and became god. *cause the game will be glitchy and exploited for invincibility like oblivion*

I've got several different characters. My main character - an Imperial - Jovus Hassildor, was imprisoned for being a confirmed vampire (although he's also a werewolf). They imprisoned him temporarily simply to decide what to do with him.

My insane Argonian Rhodaraan was imprisoned for theft, purely so he could get tortured. He wasn't expecting being allowed to escape XD

He stole a pumpkin.

Oh and the kitty character ate someone's pet rat.

EDIT: The pumpkin one is true by the way, because I once had a mod that allowed me to free roam until I was put in jail. Guess who couldn't pay the fine...

Going off of my record in Morrowind, larceny, mass murder. And that incidentally continued upon my fortunate escape from Prison.

The gods put you there. Even your character doesn't know. He even asks during the dialogue.

But on a more creative side of things...he probably stole some rare and expensive cheese.

At least thats my original character's most likely explanation.

This is why I LOVE Oblivion, because it lets you fill in so many blanks about yourself and your past, not to mention all the assumptions that can be drawn from various parts of the game. (Martin=Gay?)

Anyway, I like to asume that I went of a killing spree with an enormous purple dildo, frolicking about whilst humiliating and destroying the city watch in a matter of hours. That's why they have me on such close watch.
Sounds like something you can do in GTA: San Andreas.

An imperial noble didn't like my joke. I then began to stab him repeatedly in the head while shouting, "I BET IT'S FUNNY NOW YOU C**T!!!"

Yes, actually XD My character bio for him says he was born and grew up in Leyawiin and has been arrested so many times he's simply been kicked out of Leyawiin 'cause they've given up torturing him. He's such a masochist XD That's why he's now relocated to the Isles 8D

I was a Breton jailed for practicing Necromancy. Apparently the guards tend to frown upon summoning corpses of past rulers' families to form barbershop quartets.

No it doesn't ever tell you in the game. Trust me, I've played ALOT of Oblivion.

I believe I was in jail the first time through because I accidentally burnt off a man's mustache with an accidental fireball, because when I was getting used to the controls, I shot an awful lot of accidental fireballs, or as the game calls the spell, "flares".

My character?
Got caught doing the wrong contract on a politician. Not enough poison, arrow missed the heart by "that much", left a calling card in a narcissistic manner indicating who assassinated the guy.

Take a guess as to my class, and the first two don't count.

I don't know, but apparently I didn't put up much of a fight. I was told, repeatedly, that there had been mudcrabs sighted that were more fearsome than me, which I thought to be quite hurtful. They also seemed to have some experience, with nearly every guard in Cyrodiil telling me when I should lie down and bleed to death, as if my crime spree was territory-spanning.

which is exactly why I made it up for Oblivion. Because it doesn't fit into that world at all. It's just insane. Which is also why I'm the Duke of Mania as well XD

I nicked everything in the Imperial Palace, and then my potion of Feather wore off while I was stealing the Empress' dresses.
