Hey all,

Recently I've started playing MAG for the PS3, despitebeing a huge hater of multiplayer games I've found it's amazing fun.

One thing however is that I'm using a bluetooth headset for the first time and forget to mute it when needed. So far my blunders have included angrily shouting "The dog just crapped in the hallway" to my housemate, which received a round of applause from my entire platoon. And finally I forgot to mute when I needed to goto the toilet mid-round so everyone heard the waterworks and whistling (yeah, I whistle on the toilet!!).

Am I the only one retarded enough to pull this crap, or did you do the exact same thing, or what's the funniest thing you've heard someone else doing?

One time I was playing MW2 and my phone rang and I didn't mute my mike so everyone heard my conversation with my mom.

No youre not. People often forget to turn off their mics during arguements with their mothers. Very annoying.

Halo 3 I was in a mess-fight with a friend in the waiting area and both our mikes pick it up
when the last person finally arrives both our message boxes are filled with "rape!" and "get a room you two"

I have my mic set to push to talk for this reason.

I have talked to people in game with my mic off for a while, before realising I was actually just sat there talking to my computer.

I once heard someone having sex, or at least it sounded like it. A lot of moaning sounds. Either that, or he was a zombie. He was playing extremely crappy, so it could be true.

I had a few friends over playing modern warfare once. They were both PS3 players, and without me noticing one of them took the microphone and sat there saying "suxbox" over and over. This might be the reason I have a 4 star reputation on xbox live.

Sex whilst gaming, can you blame the guy for having poor aim? :) and that's one hell of a girlfriend. My last one wouldn't even allow me to keep the tv on. I've had some issues with people and the sensitivity set too high, spent an entire match listening to someones baby crying (this was before I learned how to block someone)

Same girlfriend here. The only game she likes is Super Mario Allstars for the SNES.

I used to leave the science channel on in my room while playing WoW.

Enzyte commercials were RAMPANT on that channel, and it seemed like every time I hit the mic, the enzyte whistling would pick up.

I set my ic to push-to-talk so i don't really have any of those stories.

There was one occation where some little kid got hold of their fathers mic and started talking to the entire server.

She really knew her gaming terminology too.

Some guy had his mic on Gears of War 2 where it was playing this super long rap song... I mean the song was okay, it's just that the quality was awful because it was playing over a 360 mic and it was on annex... annex rounds last for 10 minutes at a time.

Everyone that sounds like a five year old constantly makes that mistake. When I kindly try to correct them with the message "turn of ur mic" followed with "U sound 5" they get mad mispronounce my PSN name (they pronounce the "P"). The funniest was the one that kept calling me the N word. My response being "wow you've learned a two syllable word!". A black gamer entered the game at that point and heard me to which he responded "Hey don't be so mean to him he's young". The kid replied to his help with "F@#% you! I don't need you're N@#$%*& help" to which the black gamer replied "F@#$ you! You sound like you're five!".

I once heard a guy on MAG trying to get his little sister to stop bothering him, but she kept saying stuff "look what I can do! your not looking!" and at one point went up and presumably hugged him saying "I wuv you" and he was like "get off of me, go play outside or something!! get off of me..."

Well, I found it funny...
I'd have found it funny depending on the game, certainly in MAG if someone's charging at you, bullets blazing, whilst screaming "I WUUUV YOU!!!" I'd have probably wet myself laughing.

I remember each time I would die in Team Fortress 2 I would tell my team where the enemy that killed me was and what class they were. I did this for a good few months 'till I realised that your mic is disabled when you are dead...

A friend of mine while on mic and halo lobby, told me a story about him and his girfriend having sex, when it got to "and then I realised the condom broke" there was a second of silence before some guy random says "dude that sucks", ahh still brings a tear to my eye

Same 7 button mouse makes it really easy to press to so you don't lose any left hand control, but I've still just sat there and talked to my computer screen, its pretty awkward even the no body knows.
