In-Game running gags between you and your friends

Me and my cousin play Xbox Live a whole lot (mostly CoD4) and over the last few months we have developed many a running gag:

-At summer school he thought his teacher shredded his paper and told me about the argument and at the very end of the story he said "and then I got mad" so now when we get angry we say it
-He told an especially offensive player on our team he was a pedophile and I replied with "No way, you too?" so now when faced with that situation we reenact that and laugh
-He told his mom to make his sister do a chore of his and when I had to take the trash out a guy who overheard my cousin yelled "make brooke do it!" just like my cousin and he corrected the guys, saying "no his brother is chris" so the guy said "make chris do it!". now when one of us has to take out the trash the other one says "make chris/brooke do it!".

What good running gags have you and your friends made up and how did they come about?

Well, I don't hang out with these people anymore, but my friends had racist names for all of the Super Smash Brothers Melee Characters.

I didn't stop seeing them for that reason, but it is definately a running gag.

I remember back in the days of CS 1.4, my friend was trying it out for the first time. So he was running and jumped with an AWP (sniper rifle) and shot, in the air, no scope, and got a 1 in a million head shot on someone he wasn't even aiming for.

So every now and then we would have running, jumping, no scope awp fights. They usually ended with us running out of ammo and having to knife fight.

This one doesn't really make a whole lot of sense, but in World of Warcraft, it's become tradition for my friends and I to say "scooooooooop" over Ventrilo whenever we see a PvP target.

I honestly have no idea who started it, or even what it's supposed to mean.

My friend used to yell "MUH WHEEOLS!!" whenever he was in a warthog in halo 2

my brother always went on about how the Ghost was his war camel in ALL the halos

and finally when spinning the grenade in Gears o' War we would always run out screaming "MEDIEVAL WARRIOR!!"

Well, I suppose it isn't a running gag, but two things with CS:S. Once when my friend arrived early to get a ride to a movie. I was in the middle of a round in CS:S when he arrived, so he promptly asked if our team was winning. Being that we were not, he came up with a brilliant plan. Co-op. He would use the mouse while I used the keyboard, not being serious about it but I jokingly justified it as division of labor or some such. Needless to say, it went terribly, but was oh so hilarious. Especially when we got a kill once. Ever.

So every once in a while, we will sit down and play co-op CS:S.

The other is when the same guy had brought his laptop over for some LAN nonsense, but had forgotten his mouse at home. Desperate to not use the touchpad, he asked if I had any extras. The only thing I had on hand was my drawing tablet, so he tried that out. It actually was pretty easy. Anyways, I tried it out and now once in a while will plug it back in to have some good times with being terrible at CS:S.

one of my more recent gags was when we used to have Halo 2 LAN parties

I would always use the moniker "FunBot" (I should really start using that one again), and everyone loved to team up on me, even though I was by far the worst player, just because of my name.

So whenever I'm at a LAN party with my friends, I always use the moniker, and I'm ALWAYS the first to die, mainly due to general suckiness, but also because it's so fun to say "AWESOME! I KILLED FUNBOT!"

-My friend and I were playing starwars battlefront 2 and the first thing I see as I spawn is a wookie being pimpslapped to death by a wompa, so I yelled that and after realising what I just said we ended up losing.

-In halo3 local my friend ended up with the name pudding as his temp gamertag, so when my friend ran him over the caption said 'you splattered pudding'

- Lord of the rings: battle for middle earth 2. I decided to see what my friend would do so I let him go ahead and skirmish. So he starts out by tourturing the builders, he ends up making a massive empire, and as soon as something got built in the wrong direction, and so he demolished it and said 'Build it again!'. And so this happened for about an hour of just: Demolish and then 'Build it again!'. So now if we make a typo we just say'Build it again!'.

whenever someone picks up missle pod we always say "here's jeffray!" we call the turrets miguel.

My brother and I often imitate Tim Taylor's "Hur hur hur hur hur" grunting whenever one of us picks up the Redeemer in Unreal Tournament,
and at my former university "It's the greed" became a common reaction to minor failures. It originated from a game of battle pong where almost every one of us would rather drop the ball instead of letting an item go.

-In Halo 3, I was playing a match with a couple friends, and some random people from the "Recent Players" list, and during one of those things where it gets disconnected and it shows the scores, everyone started "bah"ing...Really loud. So whenever my friend and I get disconnected we'll start "bah"ing.

-When me and my friend would play Halo 3 Big Team Social, when ever both of us would die and respawn, or move in with a large group of people, we would say, "The red/blue team's name is Tiffany", in reference to the Mad TV skit "Scared Straight."

-In CSS when me and my friends would play together we would have a few gags. If I was losing a lot to them and then I would make a massive comeback it would always be after me going "you have angered the tiki god!!". The second they heard that they knew it was over for them lol.

-We refer to the TMP as: the pezz dispenser, or staple gun of doom.

-I am apparently the master of all the sucky weapons.

-When we would knife fight we would always play the star trek music, you know that one...where spock and kirk fight to the death

-I apparently have noob seeking grenades, as every time I throw one it always critical hits the enemy

- And my favorite: whenever I am in a big fire fight and I run out of bullets and have to hide behind a wall or am just standing in the open I yell "dont shoot I'm reloading!". Some people stop shooting long enough for me to load up and pop them lol

-my friend's mom doesn't let him curse so he used to say "effin A" (it's hard to type how he says it) it's always funny so we started saying it.
-he lives with his aunt instead of a mom so instead of calling him a mother****er I'd call him an aunt****er (can we swear on hear I forgot) anyway it gets at least a chuckle out of him.
