Hmm, it'll be nice to break out the Pokemon again, and I really enjoyed In Her Image, shame what happened to it. Anyway, I shall have a sheet up in the next day or two, if you don't mind waiting that long.
I'm assuming Lemonade isn't a magical cure-all like it is in the games. Because if it is there is little reason to use anything else because it's got a way better cost effectiveness than any other healing item.
Er, I knew it was something like that. Anyway, point is, I think it'd be kind of weird to be carrying around bottles of water that are apparently as good at healing injuries as super potions, y'know?
Appearance: standing at a respectable 5'10" and somewhere around 160 lbs, Darius' short red hair almost always seems to be disheveled and sticking out at strange angles, not that he does too much to not make it that way. His eyes, while green, are very difficult to see, and he has often been confused to be one of Brock's siblings, which he will happily remedy if someone asks. However, although the hair on his head is mostly messy, his facial hair, a small beard centered on his chin, oiled to a point.
Though perhaps the most unusual thing about him is the pipe perpetually sticking out of his mouth. Carved into the bowl are two pokemon, both of which Darius has with him, eventually, Golduck and Tyranitar, something he had made special a few years before. He most often wears jeans, shirt, and his own little signature leather vest, equipped with enough pockets and space that what he carries in his backpack is pretty much only what doesn't fit in the vest.
Personality: Seemingly carefree, Darius is far from someone fully concerned with the troubles of the world, though that could be due to the fact that he's never really stayed in one place, always moving from one pokemon region to the next, carrying his pokemon with him and a small amount of supplies to sustain them on the journey. Pokemon are his life, and caring for them is what he enjoys the most.
Not to say that he doesn't get angry at times, frustration at himself is a big part of when he or his pokemon fail what they set out to do.
Biography: Born in Pallet town, Darius grew up with the world's most renowned Pokemon Professor, living less than a Slowpoke's day travel distance away, and has lived with pokemon his whole life. Leaving a few years after the famous Red and Blue on their own pokemon journey, he left on his own with his very own pokemon, Daffy, an exceptional Psyduck, at least according to Professor Oak, who has seemed to have less fully debilitating headaches in their travels.
After beating Brock and receiving the Boulder badge, he moved onto Cerulean city and after Daffy finally showed his own formidable Psychic abilities, won the second badge and continued on his pokemon journey, coming to a pokemon daycare and after staying a couple days due to a wild rain storm, found that while he enjoyed battling other trainers, he was much more at home caring for pokemon and met his next pokemon, a Vulpix that was found weak in the forest nearby, which was Darius' first real patient of sorts. A few years afterwards, Darius left to explore the pokemon world with both Daffy and the Vulpix, first heading to the Johto Region and onwards to Hoenn, where he met and caught a Whismur who has since evolved into a Loudred in the recently opened tunnel connecting Rustboro city with a more easily accessible Hoenn.
He finally circled back to the Johto region, where he encountered an off-shoot of Team Rocket, in the process of capturing the young of a herd of Tyranitar, who were beaten back, but not before capturing a handful of Tyranitar eggs and adults, leaving behind a single egg that Darius then took himself to care for, using the skills he learned about pokemon to allow it to hatch, and has since looked after the Larvitar, even going so far as to name him Rasuto, fully intending to keep him until Darius is able to find his parents again.

Psyduck "Daffy" lvl 30, M
Nature:Relaxed
Ability:Cloud Nine
Moves:
Water Sport
Calm Mind(TM)
Zen Headbutt
Water Pulse
Confusion
Disable
Notes: A practical joker of sorts and an amateur pantomime, Daffy is just as carefree as his trainer, perhaps even more so, but come time for a fight, he can become as serious as any other pokemon. The Twisted Spoon he keeps in his bill, most often it can be seen sticking out of one side, and he has only ever swallowed it once.
Vulpix lvl 28, F
Nature:Modest
Ability:Flash Fire
Moves:
Will-o-Wisp
Hex
Flame Burst
Hypnosis(Egg-Move)
Fire Spin
Confuse Ray
Vulpix never really stays still, almost always either looking for a way to run if needed, or a place to hide. Not as if in terror, but more like instinct. Beyond that, he's a kind of lethargic soul, not in any hurry to do much of anything unless he believes it is needed. She and Daffy are the best of friends when Daffy isn't pouring a bucket of water over her while she's sleeping.
Loudred "Lilli"lvl 25, F
Nature:Timid
Ability:Soundproof
Moves:
Uproar
Howl
Astonish
Bite
Supersonic
Pound
While Loudred are one of - if not THE - loudest pokemon in existence, Lilli is the exception, incredibly shy, most often covering her face with her hands if she feels someone or something is looking at her for too long, but has become incredibly attached to the bow tied around her head, often cleaning it herself if it becomes muddied or dirt touches it in any way.
Larvitar "Ras"lvl 25, M
Nature:Adamant
Ability:Guts
Moves:
Bite
Sandstorm
Chip Away
Rock Slide
Scary Face
Screech
Reckless to a fault and always sure of himself, Larvitar is young, but has always gotten back up whenever he's been knocked down, never quitting until he or his opponent has been knocked unconscious, refusing to go back into his pokeball prematurely multiple times when he was close to losing a fight, but somehow coming out on top most of those times. He sees Darius as more than just a trainer, closer to a parent or deity-like status.
I'm assuming Lemonade isn't a magical cure-all like it is in the games. Because if it is there is little reason to use anything else because it's got a way better cost effectiveness than any other healing item.
When evolving pokemon through trade, is that trade permanent or can you just trade back right away? Or something in between?
Training for the sake of being a trainer? Interesting. And a Charmeleon named Ice is always fun.
To answer your questions, Lemonade will still heal a sizable chunk of health, but it can only be used outside of battle. Same for things like Fresh Water and Energy Roots; they'll heal, but only when the Pokémon is able to actually take the time to drink/eat them.
And trading Pokémon is by no means permanent. While people should at least keep trades going for a few posts, they're expected to trade back at some point.
To answer your questions, Lemonade will still heal a sizable chunk of health, but it can only be used outside of battle. Same for things like Fresh Water and Energy Roots; they'll heal, but only when the Pokémon is able to actually take the time to drink/eat them.
Right, just a heads up: After some review, it looks like some of your guys' movelists are a bit off. Ruedyn, Colby's Absol apparently knows three TM moves, and while Sableye can learn Dig through TMs, I don't know how it learned Bite.
And Red, it looks like Darius' Psyduck has two TM moves.
Not that big a deal, but I'd appreciate it if you guys could go ahead and fix those.
It's done, I took two TM's and decided they could both be on Daffy at the start, so I fixed that, also added nicknames to make it easier to understand which Vulpix or any other pokemon we happen to run into that's a copy.
Liliana (Lily) Plateo - Human Female: Pokemon Trainer
Hometown: Sinnoh (Canalave City)
IZ GURL
Home to the Steel type gym of Sinnoh, Canalave city and the neighboring Iron Island always had a special attraction to those who favored Steel type pokemon. Liliana was no exception whatsoever. In fact, Liliana was determined to become the world's best steel type trainer from the day she first visited Iron Island with her school. As soon as she was old enough she made sure to visit Professor Rowan before he ran out of Piplups.
With her new partner, Liliana set off to train, and train, and train. Spending most of their time on Iron island and in the underground, the two soon became three, and then four. Lily had found and revived a shieldon fossil from her many adventures in the depths under Sinnoh, and much later, had climbed to the pinnacle of the mountainous island where she had seen a family of skarmory nesting. Bravely, snuck into their nest and quickly captured a fledgling in its sleep. Unfortunately, the young pokemon woke up as it was kit with the pokeball and let out a cry, alerting its parents to the small girl who had frozen in place. Lily rushed down the mountain, and nearly avoided the birds, but they were too fast for her. Lily escaped, but not without a jagged scar on her right arm.
After she had recovered from the ordeal, Lily decided that it was about time to start challenging gyms. She had defeated the first two gyms of sinnoh when she heard about the grand tournament, and knew that that was a greater challenge, one that she could never pass up.
Easily excited, Lily will never hesitate to blabber about whatever she finds interesting, be it steel types, or battle strategies, or even just daily rituals. She's small, she packs a big appetite, and is almost never seen without some kind of snack unless she's in a battle. (She makes poffins for herself and her team when they're out in the field) Lily loves her team, almost to the point of being able to tolerate Thassa's antics. The four have traveled together for so long that Lily can usually tell when her two troublemakers have gone off to cause mayhem. Even after a mishap including a small ferry and a herd of gastrodon, Thassa and Frightful do their best not to inconvenience their trainer with their pranks, but Lily still needs to keep an eye on them just in case they decide to flip over a poor kid's shellder.
Lily loves to control the battle, utilizing both offensive and status changing moves to power up her own team and ruin the enemy team. Her battle style is usually the same, weaken the enemy and defeat them. Lily will never jump into the battle without first at least getting an idea of what her opponent is capable of, usually meaning she scans it with her pokedex. Of course having been partnered with Thassa so long, Lily has gotten used to toying with her opponents. This can lead to her going in over her head against more skilled opponents, and usually ends with someone on her team seriously injured. No matter the outcome of a match, Lily and her team will always go and get a snack, after healing of course.
Lily idolizes many of the world's top steel type trainers, but none more than Steven Stone, who she dreams of having an epic battle with someday, Steel trainer versus Steel trainer. Like Stone, Lily also collects various gems and rocks she finds on her travels, and always hopes to get her hands on a full set of evolutionary stones.[small][small]she also likes girls[/small][/small]
Lily is a short 17 year old girl, about 5'3'' with shoulder length brown hair and grey eyes. She wears a purple tee shirt and bulky grey pants with lots of pockets. She carries everything she can't fit in her pockets in a dialga-colored/patterned shoulder bag. Oh and she's got that scar from the Skarmory
Thassa - Prinplup
Female
Level 30
Ability:
Torrent
Moves:
Water Sport
Bubblebeam
Peck
Growl
Metal Claw
Shadow Claw (TM)
Thassa is one of the more cheerful and playful Prinplups, and prefers to stay out of her pokeball. However, she also loves playing tricks on other pokemon, and quite often gets into trouble for it. In battles Thassa usually tries to toy with her opponent unless they either match her in skill or even overpower her. When battling such pokemon, Thassa will do her best to dodge anything they throw at her until they make a mistake that she can capitalize on.
Cobalt - Shieldon
Male
Level 28
Ability:
Sturdy
Moves:
Taunt
Protect
Metal Sound
Dig (TM)
Take Down
Ancientpower
Cobalt is very dopey, and is usually dragged along on pranks with Thassa, even though he usually doesn't want to. Although not the most intelligent of Lily's team, Cobalt is extremely loyal to Lily, and in battle will execute Lily's strategies to the word. Cobalt also shares Lily's love of snacks, and hates to battle without holding a berry, whether it's beneficial to him or not.
Although still young, Frightful lives up to her name. Standing four inches above her tiny trainer, and with her steely glare, many people think that Frightful is meaner than she actually is. In fact, she's as much of a troublemaker as Thassa. The two are nearly inseparable and will always sneak off if they think nobody is watching them. Frightful is naturally a powerful battler, and uses a combination of speed and power to wipe out her opponents. Unfortunately, if Frightful loses any kind of battle, she goes into a mood where she refuses to listen to Lily. Most of the time it's up to Thassa to cheer up her friend, and a good prank usually brings her out of the crummy mood.
Whilst he may not be at the peak of physical condition, Vergil is by no means a slouch, and has managed to maintain a lithe but athletic build; standing at just over 6' and weighing roughly 150 lbs to 160 lbs. Due to travelling to all the other for the last few years, Vergil has developed a light tan.
Vergil's facial structure is long and slightly rounded, which comes to a point at the chin; this helps to give him a relaxed but focused expression, but also occasionally curious or inquisitive when discovering something new. His eyes are a pale green, which serves as a contrast to the dark red shoulder-length hair he has, that is neatly combed back, and worn in a ponytail when it gets in his way or when he is sleeping.
Clothing wise, you'll be hard pressed to find Vergil in something other than a respectable looking, yet casual looking suit, forgoing the usual jacket for a longer, dark blue coat that reaches down to the middle of his shins. This is worn on top of a light grey long-sleeved shirt, dark grey waistcoat and a black tie. For colder climates, he often wears a woolen scarf that is knitted in the design similar to that of a Froslass.
Personality:
Vergil is a polite, calm, and well mannered gentleman, something that has been a part of him from a young age, due to no small part being brought up in a more privileged life style than most; however this doesn't mean that he is aloof or uncaring of those who were less fortunate, in fact he seems to be more caring around others who have suffered misfortune.
True to his nature, Vergil is respectful towards his Pokemon, seeing them more as friends than as pets, and greatly disapproves of anyone who thinks of Pokemon as mere tools; though he'll refuse to get angry or raise his voice.
In battle, Vergil prefers a more tactical approach, coordinating with his team to deliver precise strikes at just the right moment to deal a critical blow, or to punch holes in an enemy's defense so they can follow up with a finishing move, or find ways to manipulate the environment for an advantage.
Being born from a successful merchant family, meant that Vergil lived a fairly comfortable life in Jubilife City. When not being taught on how to act in polite society, the young Vergil would often explore the surroundings of his home and beyond; feeling a sense of adventure whenever he did. Surprisingly his parents didn't mind, especially his mother who was at one point during her younger years a renowned Pokemon trainer, and wanted her son to become a trainer as well.
During a family vacation in the Hoenn region, the family were having a picnic in the fields near Petalburg City, when suddenly they heard a rustling sound in the tall grass nearby. Vergil, ever the curious, went into investigate, even after being told by his mother not to go in tall grass alone. What he found that day was going to change his life.
He discovered a small bird like Pokemon with orange feathers, and stubby yellow wings who looked as though it was a little bit lost. Feeling concerned for the Pokemon's safety, Vergil offered it to sit by them and enjoy the picnic. This had the little bird jumping for joy and so followed Vergil back to the picnic site. Over the remainder of the day, both the bird Pokemon and Vergil became friends.
At the end of the day though, Vergil's mother suggested they take the bird Pokemon to see the Pokemon Professor of this region, Professor Birch of Littleroot Town, which was who she got her first Pokemon years ago. When they arrived, the Professor was glad to see an old friend of his again, and curious at the thought of seeing a Torchic in this area. Initially, Vergil was going to hand the Torchic over to Birch, but it appeared that the Chick Pokemon had grown rather attached to him. This was the moment that made him decide to become a Pokemon Trainer.
After choosing a suitable name for his new companion, that being Cervantes, and being supplied with both Pokeballs and a Pokedex, the family continued on their vacation; but Vergil made sure to allow time to train with his Pokemon.
And so his journey began, after a brief stop in Sandgem Town to upgrade his Pokedex, Vergil traveled across Sinnoh first; where at Lake Verity, he came across a Starly with an injured wing. Carrying the Starling Pokemon back to Sandgem Town for treatment, the little bird seemed grateful for the assistance, and soon joined the team without being asked; which Vergil name Isabelle after discovering it was female, and thought the name suited.
At the Valley Windworks near Floaroma Town, Vergil came across a lone Shinx being harassed by a pack of unusually powerful Bidoof being lead by a Bibarel. Vergil challenged the pack to a battle, during which Cervantes evolved into a Combusken; the increased power helped drive the pack away. After the Shinx somehow managed to knock the Bibarel into the water and hit it with a Spark attack, it soon challenged Cervantes. Suffice to say it lost the battle, but Vergil was impressed by the Flash's Pokemon power, and soon caught him, naming it Voltaire due to the name sounding like an electrical term, which fit the type.
For a while though, the team traveled the world, becoming stronger as a result, with both Voltaire and Isabelle evolving into Luxio and Staravia respectively; then one day as they traveled along Hoenn Route 102, in-between Petalburg City and Oldale Town, they could hear the sound of someone crying in the tall grass.
Thinking it might have been a child who had gotten lost and hurt themselves, the team went to investigate, only to discover that it was instead a Pokemon, in particular a Ralts, which was rare for both this region and back home in Sinnoh.
Not wanting to spook the little Feeling Pokemon, Vergil knelt down in front of the Ralts, and asked what was wrong. At first the psychic type was hesitant to respond, but eventually opened up after reading Vergil's emotions. Not sensing any hostility, Ralts started talking, even though Vergil couldn't understand it. When the question of 'are you feeling lonely?' was asked, Ralts responded with a definite yes. Vergil then asked if it wanted to travel with him, and well, I think you can guess what happened next. When choosing the name, Vergil chose Auron, as it seemed oddly appropriate, and the Ralts doesn't seem to have minded.
Over the last few months, the team continued their journey, taking part in some local competitions for both money and the learning experience. Recently, Auron evolved into a Kirlia; and Vergil is deciding which path he wants Auron to follow, since he knows that two options exist, Gardevoir or Gallade. The team were in Saffron City in the Kanto Region when news of a Amateur World Tournament in Goldenrod City reached them.
Hopping on the Magnet Train, they are on their way to compete...
Appearance: A tall man, almost 6 feet in height. He is thin but not like he is made from wires. His hair is blond, cut short so the many zubats that fly in the caves he wondered couldn't grab onto it and hold on. Bright green eyes and a thin mouth that is almost always up in a smile. He has a stainless steel chain type necklace around his neck, one shrunken pokeball connected to the chain by a magnetized connector (Bog). His hands are covered In small scars from cutting his hands in the cave close to where he lives. Usually wearing a short sleeved gray shirt and dark blue jeans, the knees padded with leather. He wears half-calve combat boots and has a one strap backpack that stays on his back whenever he is outside. He also wears a thigh bag that straps around his leg, inside is the other 3 pokeballs, shrunken. All of them with stickers for what is inside, with the name scratched into the ball under the sticker.
Personality: He likes talking to others and seeing how they act and treat their pokemon. Happy to walk with others he will take others through the caves near his home if others ask, giving facts and helping them find what they are looking for. He doesn't mind spending lot of time alone or with others, while enjoying company he also has spent months and years alone over the last 12 years wondering the caves and shorelines.
Treating his pokemon with respect and understanding that they are more than just creatures with which to fight he will blow up on someone abusing or mistreating their own pokemon. Calling the police for pokemon abuse or just beating the trainer and taking theirs to turn them in to the police or center so they can be treated and relocated somewhere where they will live normal lives.
If he has nothing to say to others, and they haven't asked a question, he wont say much, liking to listen and learn what he can from those around him, human and pokemon. But if it is something he is knowledgeable about he will offer his opinion and advice, but accepts that some others will know more than him.
Biography: Born in dewford he grew up knowing about wild pokemon and gymleaders. He was a quiet boy who liked exploring the areas around his house, not allowed to go farther till he had a pokemon of his own. Then on his 10th birthday he was taken to professor birch and given a pokemon of his own, along with a pokedex. The pokemon he chose was mudkip. Being close to the sea and the underground cave systems near made him feel he would need his types and he liked him more than the other 2. keeping him out of his ball normally he asked his dad if he could get a chain with a pokeball holder on it, so he could wear the ball.
Unlike many other starting trainers he didn't go out and start traveling but instead went back home and explored with his pokemon. Walking up and down the beaches and finding his way into the caves to the northwest of Dewford.
Spending hours and in later years days wondering about the cave systems he quickly grew to knowing about how caves work and what kind of pokemon he could expect to find there. He earned some small amount of money guiding other trainers through the caves to finding certain stones or pokemon they wanted to find.
One of the first times he want into the caves without others after he started his guide service he stumbled upon a lump of what looked like iron, but when it stood up and started attacking he knew he had found an Aron. Quickly dispatching it with water guns and dodging its headbutts he caught it. He ran back to the center and got it and Bog healed, the aron passed out and Bog very hurt. It became a good friend and later he asked to borrow a TM from a passing trainer as payment instead of money, teaching him dig so he could help him escape from the caves if it was ever needed.
Several years later he was wondering through the deeper parts of the caves when what looked like the very shadows where attacking him and his pokemon. Because Bog and Mac were already out he was quickly defended from the attacking shadows and told his pokemon to attacked the darkness, discovering that a small group of Duskull had taken residence there. After driving them off so he wasn't in danger anymore he saw one had been knocked out and was lying on the ground, catching it with a Greatball he named it Shadow for where it was looking like while it was attacking. He was about 15 when he found Shadow, he never found that group of Duskulls again down in the depths of the caves.
When he was about 16 years old he went back to professor birch to have his pokedex backed up and updated, getting the update for Xtransceiver while he was there. On his way back to dewford he was walking through the tall grass on route 102 when he found a poisoned ralts, both heavily beat up and poisoned by the looks of it. Taking it the closest center as quickly as he could he waited outside until he knew it would be all right. After it was done being cured and healed he took it back out into the wild again close to where he found it, but after letting it go it started following him as he walked away. After walking several miles with this ralts following him he stopped and asked it if it would like to join his party. Taking its nod as a yes he used a Greatball on it and got it on the first shake. Bringing it and his now marshtomp he walked the rest of the way using the both of them to clear a path, leveling fae several times before getting home and using him as one of his main party afterwards because of the psychic moves he knew.
After getting back to his home town he started doing deep and long expeditions into the caves. Some of them taking as much as a week for him to come back above ground. Over time his pokemon grew and his knowledge of them also grew. Now close friends and companions he was in town resting after a long trip into the caves when he saw the advertisement for the Amatuer World Tournament. Both the opportunity to see so many different kinds of pokemon and the cash prize interested him greatly. Telling his parents he was going out to try himself and his pokemon out, asking them to watch his house while he was away. Using the old man who likes to travel the seas he asked him to sail him to Goldenrod city.

Version 2.4
Cut down on the pokemon information and reformatted his Bio(if u meant it in another way than i did please be more specific).
Comments are always welcome.
EDIT: Separated the Bio. But unfortunately i don't see the jumbled part, i understand you do and that it means i probably wont be picked for the RP.
Right, so, looks like a few more people are still working on sheets. Considering that, and the number of submissions already received, I'll probably continue to accept applicants until at least Friday. Still, I will try to make the final selections sometime this coming weekend, so I'd encourage people to make any new sheets or edits that they want to before then.
Well, that's certainly a unique format for a sheet. But I suppose I can still find everything without too much difficulty, so no worries there.
While Lily's Pokémon have enough detail, the rest of the sheet is kind of sparse. You mention all of the important bits of her appearance but don't exactly give a whole lot of detail about it, and while you devote an entire paragraph to Lily's admiration of Steven Stone you don't even mention how she feels about her team or Pokémon in general.
I don't have any problems with the character, but I would like to see her fleshed out more.
I know that you're not quite done with Vergil's biography, but I hope you don't mind if I pass judgement on the rest of the sheet.
Honestly, it looks pretty good. I find it odd that Vergil has had to rescue every one of his Pokémon from some situation or another thus far, but I suppose that considering the nature of the world that's not too unreasonable. Aside from that though, everything seems to be in order.
Actually, when I said to reformat the bio, I just meant separate the paragraphs so that it's not a single chunk of text. As for the rest of the sheet, you want to try to focus on grammar and punctuation; as it is, the sheet just doesn't flow too well. It comes across as jumbled, almost.
Appearance: Tyler would stand at 5'10", if he ever bothered to stand up straight. He often has a absent grin on his face and a daydream glossing over his eyes. His eyes are a dark brown matching his hair, which is often an uncut mess. Being from Undella, his skin still has a fairly fresh tan on it, from all his time spent out in the sun. He wears a hat, a replica of the one worn by the famous Red of Pallet Town, as well as a t-shirt and jeans or shorts. The coat he carries around for when the weather requires it is clearly well-made and pricey but eternally wrinkled and often looks slept-in. He's got a well-worn but reliable pair of sneakers. Since he doesn't wear a belt, he keeps his Poke Balls on a key-chain fastened to one of the belt loops on his pants. He wears a sting adorned with a tooth he found washed up on the shore one day, and while he doesn't share it with anyone, thinks it might belong to Kyogre.
Personality: Coming from a rich family, Ty takes things for granted, and isn't used to working hard. He's a slacker through and through, and that's never bothered him. While he might take material things in life for granted, he knows how to truly enjoy life. He never misses the chance to gaze at a sunset, or play with his Pokemon. He seeks fun, and might even put out some effort if it's enjoyable enough, but avoids boring things and hard work at all costs, sometimes going through more trouble not to do things than it would take just to do them. When he does have to do something, he always does it in a rush at the last second.
He is prone to complaining about difficult things, though usually only in a mild manner, which gives the impression that even complaining in earnest is too much of a bother. He doesn't go out of his way to train his Pokemon either, hardly ever seeking out battles, wild pokemon or otherwise.
His Pokemon are his friends to him, and is likely to have at least one of them out of their Pokeballs and traveling with him.
Biography: Most people see Undella Town as a place to vacation, especially during the summer. For Ty, it was where he spent his childhood. His family was rich, and though he was never really sure who his parents worked for, it didn't matter. He was tutored at home, and when he wasn't coasting through that, he was out playing. Though he had little trouble being friendly among the other children during the summer, he often found himself lonely during the winter. Even his family was rarely around. The servants of his family's estate informed his parents, and they quickly bought him a Pokemon from the Johto region, a specially bred and trained Pokemon for the aspiring trainer with a lot of money. Ty couldn't care less about that, he was simply estatic to have a new friend. The two got along fantastically, and his Swinub made the perfect partner for the winter months. In the summer, he was sure to trim the thick coat of his Pokemon friend, even when he forget or avoided getting his own hair cut. The two spent many years together like that, even into Ty's young adulthood.
Eventually, Ty grew to an age where something was expected of him. He couldn't simply spend the rest of his life living off of his family's money, and had to make something of himself. Groaning about it, he finally came upon an advertisement for the Amatuer World Tournament, and the prize of $1,000,000. Such an easy, effortless way of making something of himself was too good to pass up, and signed up at the last minute. He made his way to Castelia, picking up a few new teammates along the way, and from there set out by boat to Kanto's Vermillion, finally taking the train at Saffron to his destination of Goldenrod City.

Collosus was bought for Ty from Johto when he was young, it has seen very little actual battle until recently. Shares a very close bond with his trainer, as well as having some of his personality rubbed off on him. It's not unusual for them to sigh at the same time, or to be found hiding from work or trouble together.

Ability: Mold Breaker
-Dual Chop
-Assurance

The first Pokemon Ty caught. The Axew had wandered out of it's usual cave habitat, escaping from the usual competitions of his kind within, playing at fighting each other, preparing for the same kind of battles when they got older, fighting over mates. Ty stumbled over the Pokemon, who had collapsed. He shared his food with the Axew, and told him of his plans to travel. Wide-eyed, it listened intently, and when it came time to leave, he joined up with pair, joining Ty's team.
The second Pokemon Ty caught. It was during a particularly vicious sandstorm in route 4 when she attacked Ty and Collosus. The battle raged on, but finally the sandstorm wore away at her and she was weakened. Her attacks didn't relent, but Ty was able to capture her, and decided to keep her, realizing he was going to need a fierce fighter if he wanted to win in the tournament.
Seems like a pretty decent sheet. One question though: Do Tyler's parents have the rest of his funds on hand? And if so, how do they plan on getting it to him?

Appearance: Sana is not the largest girl, weighs only about 120 lbs and stands at give foot four. Her hair only drapes down to about the back of her neck, but has two long locks of hair that reach down a couple of inches below her shoulders. She usually wears a set of grey cargo shorts and a red tank top. However, over that, she wears an unzipped sweat jacket styled like a pikachu for two reasons. 1: it's cute. 2: it helps cover up a massive scar on her back going from the topright to the lowef left of her back, from an incident a few years ago. She has a set of deep red eyes and both of her ears are pierced with tiny pokeball earrings hanging from them.
Personality: while she will deal with people in a respectful manner, her pokemon are her true friends she's really gotten close with. she treats them as people and gives them the same respect she'd give her friends. Being raised around and with pokemon has led her to viewing them as people and he willingness to protect them.
Biography: Sana was found in Sootopolis city, on the doorstep of an elderly couple. they raised her in the little oasis in the desert until she was six. that's when a traveling pokemon researcher stopped in the town. knowing pokemon all her life and playing with those surrounding the town, the girl decided to adventure out with him. The elderly couple agreed, knowing she would learn more from him than having her stay with them.
after leaving town, she grew friendly with the professor and he taught her that pokemon aren't just animals, but friends and great companions as well. She traveled all around hoenn with him for a year until she met a seedot. She befriended the little pokemon seedot, naming him seedy. they continued to travel around until she was twelve, then the professor recommended that she hea to his colleague in the sinnoh region who specialized in the field of caring for a pokemon, almost like a cross between a nurse jenny, a professor and a breeder. He knew his friend could teach her more than he would be able to, so after a teary goodbye, she departed.
Sana arrived and felt odd without being with her previous mentor with her, but soon enough, she fit right in. The professor there had a small pokemon reserve, of which, she managed to befriend a number of the pokemon there. However, her and the professor had to venture out when she was eighteen to head to a cave in the north of sinnoh on the reports of a rare injured pokemon there. Upon arrival, she discovered that there was a group of punk hunting down a riolu.
She came across it in the cave and peacefully approached it. the pokemon was clearly tired and hurt. she and her seedot began to defend the pokemon, holding off the bandits while her professor headed for help. her seedot held out pretty well, but against so many pokemon, it was only so much until her seedot gave out. they continued to try to attack it, but she dove in the way, in the end protecting both pokemon and taking a rather powerful hyper hyperbeam. She held out till the professor returned with officer jenny and the police.
she was taken to a nearby pokecenter along with the two pokemon, all three of the receiving medical attention. after they had recovered, the riolu, being a very prideful pokemon, resented her for being saved by her, but stuck around because he owed her for saving him.the new trio continued on for a year helping out the group at the small reserve. She continued to write and speak with her old mentor in hoenn. At times, she would just vent to him about her homesickness. He decided to do something about that.
One day, waiting for her on the table inside of a velvet bag was a pokeball and a note.
with love,
from your mentor,
a little slice of home.
A ping of happiness struck her and she let out the pokemon, sitting on the floor was a trapinch, cute. it looked around and recognized her scent from the professor training it. It was immediately happily attached to her. Sana remembered playing with a few of the sandtraps in the desert near her house with the elderly couple.
She called up her old mentor on the vido-phone and was in joyful tears in thanking him for the gift. he explained to her that he had visited the elderly couple and gotten a trapinch from the area that had recognized her. she profusely thanked him, leaving with a new friend in the end.
now, 19 then, 21 now, she has come across this tournament, and has gotten a great idea in her head. She decided she'd enter the contest with her pokemon, sort of for fun, but also to see if she could win the poke to get extra funding for the reserve or open her own.

A tall man towering six foot four. He's not rippling with the muscles, has some fat to him. But looks the kind of guy you'd avoid messing with. Weight to be about two-hundred and fifty pounds. Its been quite some time since he last stood on a scale so that numbers just estimated.
Hair wise he keeps it at a medium length, just starting to reach his eyes would be a good way to picture the length. Its of a fair color and the hair tends to just do its own thing and it looks rather nice so he doesn't go to any lengths to style it. He also has some mutton chops and a soul patch. Eye color is an emerald green.
Now for the apparel. A red cotton shirt with a black Pidgeotto silhouette striking down with claws at the ready and wings aback. Black leather jacket, it has two breast pockets, two lower and two interior. Quite nifty for holding extra stuff or keeping his hands warm. In the continual need for more pocket space, cargo pants in urban camo! A thick woven belt to keep his pants up when weighed down. Black running shoes made for comfort. He also wears a red silk scarf that once wrapped around his neck reaches to his knees. And aviator glasses, cause the futures so bright, I gotta wear shades.
Being born in the big city, Howl's rough to say the least. He'd heard enough F-bombs just as a kid to level a good sized country. So being a rude, crude, dude with some attitude falls within his nature. He often substitutes the bad words though when he needs to. Still this bad boy isn't the guy in high school who stuffed you in the lockers or ran you up a flagpole by your undies. He's loyal and dependable, sticking up for the small guy. Howl's the guy who was friends with everybody, apart of no one group.
He treats his Pokemon as compadres, brothers in arms, friends he'd never let down. Cause why treat the creatures you spend all your time with any different than actual people.
The unofficial semi official biography until a real writer can write his official one.
Two of Howl's great loves are Pokemon and singing. He's been in and out of bands since he was 14. Most are just those bands that last a few months, maybe a year, and only make a lot of noise out of your parents garage. But his latest band put out a fairly successful album in the underground scene. Maybe you know it. Stoke the Fire by the now defunct band SuperUnova? Well not that it matters, they made a great thing. They may not be able to create new music but this has let Howl be able to travel and be with his Pokemon more often.
So this rock legend hopeful was born in the cultural beacon of Castelia City, the heart of Unova. His old man worked in an office tower and his mom was a chef, he also had a little sister named Isla. They both worked long hours so they weren't always there during his childhood. His neighbor and unofficial Godfather Roth wound up looking after the boy a lot. He was a friend of his fathers and lived in the same building as them. The guy was a huge music buff, he's the one who got Howl so in love with singing and music. Roth tried to teach him the guitar but he never mastered it, he had a great singing voice he said. Sounded like this old time rocker named Freddie, before his time. Well his path was set out pretty well by him, he was born to be a rock god. His parents weren't to approving but he was still in high school and so long as he stayed away from the bad seeds, they'd go along with it. Well he kept out of to much trouble anyways, and in high school he was top of the food chain. Dated the cheerleaders, loved by the masses, joked with all the teachers except the really crabby old female ones. Those 4 years were a blast, and that propelled him into the world of preforming gigs with various bands. And all that time he never owned a single Pokemon.
Well after a few years of parties, girls, gigs, band changes, heart breaks and schlepin' it on his own, he got his first Pokemon. His sister had become a Pokemon caretaker of sorts. She gave him a Pokemon egg, figuring it would make him take on some real responsibility in his life. He thought it was food and got a metaphorical mallet to the skull from her. Well when the thing hatched the cutest little Zoura came from it. Well he took the little thing to the Pokemon center, wrapped it up in a blanket and all. He never paid much attention in school about Pokemon stuff. The nurse looked her over and told him a whack of information, along with the Pokemon's gender. Howl named her Freya. The little fluffball may have torn him and his stuff up, but it was just a pub. He taught it in time to not do so many naughty things, but ever the trickster Freya is. He also shipped up his life somewhat, joined up with a new crew. They even got a manager to handle their stints. Moved in to a nice apartment. Than the band started laying down the tracks to their first album, what an electric time that was. He had Roth there helping them, he insisted that his expertise be apart of this. Little Freya even was in it, providing a laugh track to the opening of one of the songs. If the making was electric, the release was downright high grade TNT. He had some fame, money, and his little Freya. All was right for the time.
But things couldn't keep going the way they were. The sales dried up, the gigs didn't pay much. Some of the band were fed up with one members drug addiction, one just had a baby. They broke up. Howl was sick to his stomach of the city, just couldn't stay. Sold most of his things and moved what he wanted to keep to storage. Paid his parents a visit and told him he was just gona travel the word awhile, maybe take up this Pokemon battling thing so many people did.
So him and Freya took off. They traveled the hills, sulked through the shade of the forests, through mountains he never imagined their height and the wide wind sweeping fields of Unova. He trained Freya to become stronger in their travels. And they even picked up some new friends on the way. Torunn was met after he and his gang ambushed Howl in a forest. Freya and Howl fought a retreating battle against them in hopes of escaping. This one kept up with them though, trailing the duo for miles after the battle had ended. Howl admired the determination of him and battled to capture him. He put up a fierce fight but in the end was captured and brought to the team. Loki, well. That was a night of sheer terror Howl is trying to repress, he doesn't talk about it. Never, ever, will he talk about it. But he is now on Howl's roster as a powerful ally.
He never intended to make a team of Darkly types, they just seem drawn to him. Odd cause he's the upbeat rocker when they usually seek out other dark ones themselves. Not that he's complaining. With two good compadres and Loki the bane of all that is good on his side, the travels are filled with adventure, good times, and rich battling. And his travels took him far and away from his home of Unova. He sailed to Kanto to hit up the Pokemon and music scene, meeting some notable people in both worlds. While in Celadon he caught word of a big tournament going on in the region to the west, Johto. With Goldenrod city somewhere over the horizon and but a train ride away, he had nothing to lose but much to gain.
Howl's first Pokemon and favorite. Freya is quite frisky and always causing trouble. Often leading back to Howl. In battle she fights with determination and often taunts her opponent with her illusion ability or by laughing at them. Freya sometimes takes the form of a human women when walking around town with Howl to fool others. Its her own little thing, and rather comedic.
A knightly little fellow and lover of pointy things. He faithfully follows Howl's commands and executes them to the best of his ability. In battle he fights with unwavering zeal, intent on winning and refusing to yield until he can no longer attack. Torunn likes to march a perimeter around Howl and keep the rift raft away.
Loki: Level 23: Male Shuppet
Ability: Insomnia
- Knock Off
- Screech
- Night Shade
- Will-o-Wisp
- Shadow Sneak
- Faint Attack
Silent. Thats about the best way to describe Loki. Or shouting evil. Theres not much to him, mostly stays in his Pokeball during the day. At night Howl lets him out to wander to feed off the negative emotions of others.
