I'v gamed for 27h straight once, and that was online-Digichat-Whitewolf-World of Darkness RPGs!
For this I have to be seriously addicted to the game. I remember a weekend in high school I woke up Saturday morning, and played Everquest until Sunday night up til I had to go to bed for school on Monday. I didn't plan to do this, it just happened.
I've tried forcing myself to stay up and do massive gaming marathons, but after about 24 hours I start to feel extremely miserable and then ask myself "why the hell am I doing this?" and decide to finally hit the sack. I could probably last a lot longer, but when I'm just doing it for fun it eventually gets to the point where I am not enjoying myself anymore and see no point in continuing.

I once played through Mass effect 1 and 2 in a single 4 day weekend. That included all the DLC for 2 except for Arrival(it hadn't been released at the time). I didn't sleep until the 3rd day and the only break I took was to go to the store across the street from my apartment building to get more food I could make in the microwave.
I think Oblivion and Civilization 4: Complete rank as my longest gaming sesh's. About 16 hours.
if i could switch games and have 5 min food/drink breaks then i could go on for several days. as for my record its at 15 hours.

i played through mass effect (including around 80% of the side missions and random planet exploration) in one sitting. SO. LITTLE. SLEEP. i think i spent around 30+ hours awake and playing it from memory.

I marathonned Shivering Isles when it came out... Took me about 48 hours. Needless to say, I had really weird dreams for weeks afterwards.

My record is 7 hours straight, on World of Warcraft. There's always some asshole we had to wait for. Come to think of it, most raids were just waiting for other people, not playing the game. Good enough reason to quit raiding, and then quit playing WoW altogether.

Depends on the game for me. If it's a basic shooter I could go the entire single player in one sitting. If it's an RPG like oblivion or fallout though, I could go easily 24 hours nonstop. Bathroom breaks and food of course would break up the time but only for minutes.
The longest is a 10-hour Gear of War 2 binge when I first got it. I played co-op with my brother and we completed the game.
Now, I can hardly play for more than an hour and a half in one session. I think the longest I've gone since then, though, was while I was playing Sims 3, which was for about four hours.

I think the longest i've went is about 13 hours, on the night i first bought TF2 XD.
