Alright I'll admit those were funny and I think the show is great... but I'm still not going to be apart of this so called "herd."

No actual hate towards anyone, but all of this is to excessive for my taste.
We understand, we just are glad that you like the show :)

I feel that this is relevant to the interests of the readers of this article, if you continue to dislike ponies after the video you are inhuman.

I can only hope that we get more parodies as good as this one. ^_^

The inglorius basterd one was thebest out of them all.
I completely agree, it just synced up with the video much better than the rest, and the fact that I loved that movie helped. ^_^
Wow. I only watched about 5 of the vids up top, and I think this one is better than all of them. What is the audio from?
You aren't a PC gamer are you? :p

The audio is from Team Fortress 2.
You're right I'm not. The sad part is I never got a chance to play TF2 when I had the Orange Box (borrowed it) because I don't subscribe to XBL and there's absolutely no way to play it otherwise. But TF2 srsly? That would've been one of my last guesses.
Despite being a multiplayer-only game TF2 has some very distinct characters, in the video they are as follows:

Heavy=Manticore
Scout=Rainbow Dash
Sniper=Twilight
Engineer=Applejack
Spy=Rarity
Medic=Fluttershy

And I'm just now realizing that Pinkie isn't in that video at all. :l

I wouldn't even bother with TF2 on any console really, they don't get all the balance fixes and awesome updates like the PC version, I used to play on PS3 and they are like two completely different games.
I surmised a few of these. So is this a cutscene or a string of class-specific reaction phrases or what? I would've assumed that the game didn't have cinematic sequences.

Looked through the thread, and am very sad to see Rush being a point of contention. Rush should have more than enough awesomeness to go around.

The show is uncannily endearing, and I would defend its quality and production value, but that's no reason to fight over super awesome Canadians.

twilight delivering the "tell me why i shouldn't kill you right now" line is the single best thing to come out of the pony craze.

Try episode 3+ they are much better
It shouldn't take that long for a show to get good.
Actually, it's more like episodes 3+ are a bit different in tone from the pilot. So you should probably check out one of those instead to get a better idea of what to expect from the show if you're still curious about it.

It's OK; according to official fan-canon, Pinkie is the Pyro, so she wouldn't be talking anyway.

Just a bunch of lines from the game strung together. The audio files are surprisingly easy to extract compared to most game engines.

Pinkie as...Pyro? WAT

Pinkie needs to be able to speak! She should be Soldier if anything, Spike should be Pyro.

It's from one of the Stargate: Universe trailers. Once I have a working prototype of it I'm gonna post it in the MLP user group for suggestions on improvement.
Just so you know, I'm really looking forward to this.
No pressure, h-uh?
Pressure? Not yet no, though now... and if you mess it up, I will find you and remedy the problem. There now there's pressure ;)
Well considering how terrifying Fluttershy was in the season finale.... Lots of pressure.

That is ridiculous. MLP's is ridiculous. What is next, MLTranformers?
...Since the ML stands for My little, and Hasbro does have a line of miniature Transformers toys (as they're not the size of real robots), there kinda already is...
Wait...doesn't Hasbro own D&D? So can my dwarf paladin mount one of these beasts?
OH my GOD you just blew my mind YES I WANT A PONY!!!!!

I'm not quite sure how exactly large swaths of the internet whose tastes generally lean more towards Batman and Mass Effect first fell in love with the new My Little Pony series, Friendship is Magic. Did one of them suddenly watch it on a whim and happen to tell his friends that it was actually pretty awesome? Was there a secret Hasbro plot to infiltrate 4chan and spread the seeds of periphery demographic there? The world may never know.
It has probably been posted three dozen times already but

"On October 10, 2010, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic was aired as part of the debut of the new television network, The Hub, which ended up replacing Discovery Kids. On October 19, 2010, Cartoon Brew wrote an article about the show entitled, The End of the Creator-Driven Era in TV Animation, which had an oddly alarmist tone to it. Threads on 4chan?s comic and cartoon board, /co/, attacked and made fun of the article for this reason. The article and the threads generated /co/?s initial interest in the show, causing several members to go and watch the first episode. After the second episode aired on October 22nd, threads about the Ponies started to boom even more, gaining the show fans outside of its target demographic."
