In the Grim Darkness of the Future, There Are Only Ponies

This is so funny, because I'm watching MLP:FIM right now! While at school! XD

In fact, the episode in particular has got to be the girliest one of all; it's the one where Rarity makes all her friends new dresses for the Grand Galloping Gala and they all hold a fashion show.

What's even worse is that I actually wanted to by some of the new toys for MLP, after seeing they look just like they do in the cartoon... Except Princess Celestia, who's pink for some reason.

It's official, I'm obsessed... I don't WANT to be ashamed of it, but still, I can't help but feel strange that I'm interested in not only a TV show aimed at girls, but also the TOYS made for girls...

No, if it were like Friends everyone would be insufferably smug. In fact, only Rarity is insufferably smug.

Rainbow's the smug one, I'd say. Rarity's just prissy, but actually quite kind.

RD is cocky, but at least she has a useful life skill (weather engineering). Rarity is a fashionista in a universe where the only item of clothing worn on a regular basis is Applejack's hat.

Dash isn't cocky, she's a jerk! Also, Rarity obviously has enough customers to keep her business going

Thought I might just be going insane.

Australian accent? I don't know where that could be coming from, but I don' hear it.

Really the only identifiable 'accents' I can think of in the show are the:

A) Western (Apple Family)

B) German (Photo Finish)

C) Hoity (Like all the ponies with a top hat)

Please don't ban me, but this obsession here is REALLY grating on my nerves. Why, mostly adult males are obsessed with rainbow and magic ponies from shows for 1 year old babies...well, let's just say, some people may need to get their priorities straight? You're watching this show and these unfunny "parodies" instead of playing Mass Effect, Starcraft, or Elder Scrolls. Portal 2 just came out and you're doing this? No wonder we get laughed at it...this deserves it!

Because an adult who can't enjoy something so pure and fun, is not an adult at all, but a child who refuses to take a good mouthful of RAINBOWS!
Anywho, what you define as "extremely mature and sophisticated" then I see it as a stinking pile of cabbage.

Because I probably have the mind of a five year old, I still know that I'm more mature then you because I can play both and enjoy both, trust me, if you would know how kind these shows are then you would just smile and it would make you into a better person, it sure did to me!
