In the mood for a fps or other gun based game, what are your suggestions?

If you like shooters and own a PS3 (which I assume you do from the Uncharted game you mentioned) I'd strongly recommend Killzone 2 and 3.

Otherwise, for lesser known titles that'll blow you away with "WHY WASN'T THIS ADVERTISED BETTER?!", go for "Wolfenstein" or "Singularity".

It's best if you have friends to play it with though. Playing solo gets boring faster.

Singularity is not bad and should be pretty cheap, I enjoyed red faction armageddon lots of guns but it's 3rd person, there is of coures the bioshocks, and far cry 2

Do you have a PS2, Xbox or Gamecube?

If so, get TimeSplitters 2. And if you have a PS2 or Xbox, while you're at it, get TimeSplitters: Future Perfect.

They are really great games from the people who made GoldenEye 64!
