In the wake of Black Friday...What if Steam was a retail store?

What do you suppose would happen if steam was a brick and mortar outlet, offering the same kinds of deals they do online, except with actual product in limited supplies.

Imagine seeing a boxed set of ALL the GTA games for 15 bucks. Giant bundles of developers games for 100 bucks with over 300 dollars in savings.

What madness would ensue?

Well, after the first FIVE SECONS the entire store would be bought out, and ontop of the voilence that would consume the place as people fight for the last of the products on sale, MORE violence would start against the employees for running out of stock so damn fast

If Steam was a retail store it'd have stopped selling the PC games you like years ago.

It'd still take hours/days to get your game due to notorious understaffing, rather than too few servers. But I'd actually prefer it if Steam gave you a physical copy along with its digital system.

Well for one, i would stay the hell away from there, like i already do (although that is mainly due to my 'can't be arsed' attitude) Oh, and people would die.
A lot of people.

Better than Origin though, the staff would track you home, wait for you to have a small criticism about a game, then run in there and beat you up.

Madness, utter madness. Chances are the Black Friday event would of made it to the news headline and it won't be an employee death, pepper spray or beathen an old man accuse of thief. It was be much worse than that (or maybe all three events had happen at once in the same building).

I think Steam would close in just a few hours due to low stock.
also lot,s people getting trampled.
