Martigen's Monster Mod for Oblivion belongs in this category. It's great that he put a bunch of variety into the bad guys, but the spawn rates are just plain ludicrous even with "reduced spawn" turned on in the launcher.

It gets a bit irritating in Crackdown to have gangsters shoot at me while i'm just trying to move through the city.

After awhile it just turned into this:

Me: I wonder if I could reach that ledge...
Gangsters: *Bang Bang*
Me: HIT THE DECK!

This gets worse later in the game when everyone and their dog gets rocket launchers.

Call of Duty World at War. there are many reasons why I chose this title. First of all, all they do is throw grenades. Like 3 each. And these granades have a like 50 yard blast raius, so there is no way you can get away from the all. My second problem was that whenever you step out of cover during a firefight, every enenemy within a mile radius drops whatever he is doing and starts shooting at you. So if the grenades don't get you, the guns will. The third problem is that the enenemies arn't a fixed rate, but rather keep generating until you cross certain trigger points. So that means they will keep comming unless you leave your hiding place, and run across usualy an open field or narrow tunnel, straight into oncomming fire/grenades.

I quite liked pissing someone off in Assassin's Creed, running around for awhile until there was an army of guards on my trail, then owning them all with my wrist blade. Good times :)

Diablo 2. The stupid flayers in the flayer jungle may be the most annoying things ever. They can mob you and then they never let you go. its really annoying.

The new Golden Axe. When the enemies come, you actually realize that you are ACTUALLY playing the new Golden Axe. And that just hurts.

CoD 4. Playing that game is almost unbearable for me because of respawning enemies.

"Hmm.... I've shot and killed 16 people that have run out of that room. It must be some room leading to a high-tech terrorist manufacturing facility!"

*stares into a small closet*

Call of Duty 4. Specifically during the stand-off at the fairground in One Shot One Kill on Veteran.

Nah, it's good in RTS's, but only if you have a massive defence, and you watch their puny attack get stamped on.
It's fun in Halo Wars if you can get fully upgraded Cobra tanks (Anti-EVERYTHING!) to sit outside of your base.

Diablo II Lord of Destruction. I don't care about the extra items and things that make it easier . . . HUGE size bosses with SCARY stats that fucking SPAWN other enemies on the fly while you're fighting them, and RIGHT when you right click town portal . . . just as it's about to hit . . . BOOM! you die again and again!

Oh God I remember that! It was awful! Probably the worst part of that game.

My vote is for the ending of KOTOR, swarms of enemies coming so fast you can't even heal up your party or slam enough medkits into your thigh before another twenty swarms come. It's tough, but rewarding to say the least.

Any game that uses Random Encounters, mostly due to the fact that these games love to conjure up a dozen enemies every 2 steps when either you're worn out and in no condition to battle or are trying to solve the puzzle of a particular dungeon, but never conjure up any enemies when you want to level grind.

Oh lord, I hate the neverending stream of enemies, because it's usually preceded by the thought "Hmm the computer hasn't attacked me yet, I wonder why...maybe it's glitching out"

Closely followed by "We're under attack!" and then a scroll over to the spot only to find it become a writhing mass of enemy units that the computer's been saving up.
Nothing that can't be solved with a quick and

CoD:WaW on Vetran difficulty. So fucking gay. CoD4 wasn't nearly as bad, and had such a badass story that I actually wanted to keep playing.

ninety nine nights? Dont get me wrong, fun game, but it got kinda tedious mashing through an ocean of orcs with nothing to break up the monotony.
