In what game would you want to be included as a non-playable character?

My first impulse would be Oblivion, but if I was playing also, then I'd be dead because some evil thing in black with a bow would be sniping everything that moved. I suppose a JRPG setting so there's lot of weird, colorful and random places to go.

Oblivion for the same reason, plus my magic makes me invincible! =]
