I'm going to have to get on the Law Abiding Citizen train here. I can't think of a better movie in a long time where I was rooting for the bad guy. I was actually really let down by the ending.
Sorry let me clarify.CrystalShadow said:How does that even...? Well, considering how that ended, I don't actually know who you're rooting for here. Especially since the 'evil' person in that series/manga is the lead character.Flack said:Death Note.
I know its not a movie, but seriously.
Lol. I figured that's what you meant. But it's a difficult series to relate a comment like yours to.Flack said:Sorry let me clarify.CrystalShadow said:How does that even...? I wanted Light to win.
I wouldn't say dick. He wanted his daughter back, she got taken by bastards, and the police were corrupt. Liam Neeson played it well, and stuff like this does sometimes happen to people who are too relaxed. (BTW, Russia, Red Square, you're safer with a rental, or even hitch hiking than flagging a cab. Basically all the taxis in Red Square are controlled by the Russian Mafia.)DataSnake said:Taken. The hero was a dick and the damsel in distress was an idiot.
Yeah, no one is that conspicuously evil and gets away with it.ThreeWords said:In my opinion, Voldemort deserved to lose. Not because of karma, or anything like that, but because he's such a fabulously evil villain. Most bad guys at least pretend they're doing something right; Voldemort calls himself 'The Dark Lord' and spends most of his time being massively evil for shits and giggles.RobCoxxy said:Harry Potter.
He had it coming.
Veiled? really? hahah that whole movie was a Reagan era extravaganza.7amurai said:Red Dawn. Those kids were fucking annoying. The Cuban officer was more relateable than them and he was on screen a fraction of the time they were. Then they killed the one kid who was forced to lead the Russians to the group and I actually liked them less than even the random bad-guys. At least they had some reason to kill who they did and weren't just shooting their allies for shits and giggles. Oh and plus the whole thing reeked of thinly veiled propaganda.
Looking back on it, you're absolutely right. Poor word choice on my part.CouchCommando said:Veiled? really? hahah that whole movie was a Reagan era extravaganza.7amurai said:Red Dawn.
