I'm going to have to get on the Law Abiding Citizen train here. I can't think of a better movie in a long time where I was rooting for the bad guy. I was actually really let down by the ending.

Death Note.
I know its not a movie, but seriously.
How does that even...? Well, considering how that ended, I don't actually know who you're rooting for here. Especially since the 'evil' person in that series/manga is the lead character.
Sorry let me clarify.
I wanted Light to win.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Always was a Shredder fan even if he never had the intelligence to get rid of his bumbling idiot henchmen Bebop and Rocksteady...It would have been great to see the Technodrome go storming through the streets.

Lol. I figured that's what you meant. But it's a difficult series to relate a comment like yours to.

Of course, if the story had ended sooner, you would have your wish.

Taken. The hero was a dick and the damsel in distress was an idiot.
I wouldn't say dick. He wanted his daughter back, she got taken by bastards, and the police were corrupt. Liam Neeson played it well, and stuff like this does sometimes happen to people who are too relaxed. (BTW, Russia, Red Square, you're safer with a rental, or even hitch hiking than flagging a cab. Basically all the taxis in Red Square are controlled by the Russian Mafia.)

What did get me in that movie is when he walks in on his daughter's friend in the whorehouse. She's trashed on drugs, barely recognizes him, but she's still alive. He's just like "screw this!" and just leaves her there.

Funny Games U.S.

I LOVE Peter and Paul. Those two goofball psychotics are impossible not to like. You can't help but smile at their antics at times, especially when they go into a tickle fit with their captive family right in front of them. I really must watch the original German version.

Harry Potter.
In my opinion, Voldemort deserved to lose. Not because of karma, or anything like that, but because he's such a fabulously evil villain. Most bad guys at least pretend they're doing something right; Voldemort calls himself 'The Dark Lord' and spends most of his time being massively evil for shits and giggles.

He had it coming.
Yeah, no one is that conspicuously evil and gets away with it.

The witch winning in the Wizard of Oz would have been pretty awesome, or maybe I've just watched Wicked too much. She was innocent dammit!

Red Dawn. Those kids were fucking annoying. The Cuban officer was more relateable than them and he was on screen a fraction of the time they were. Then they killed the one kid who was forced to lead the Russians to the group and I actually liked them less than even the random bad-guys. At least they had some reason to kill who they did and weren't just shooting their allies for shits and giggles. Oh and plus the whole thing reeked of thinly veiled propaganda.

I route for the bad guys in most films but mainly Star Wars, Darth Vader was way cooler than Han Solo and Luke, and the Stormtroopers were badass but not very good at aiming. I also hated the ewoks.

<---- See my avatar?

She's still alive, damn it! Screw the good fairies and Aurora and Phillip. Maleficent/World Domination is my OTP.

Really, though, I'd be here forever if I listed them all. I find villains generally way more entertaining than protagonists, since heroes seem more prone to suffer from blandness, while villains are free to be hilariously, irredeemably batshit crazy and pettily cruel. I love that. At least in film and television. In video games, I'm generally all about the heroics.

Law Abiding Citizen - i just liked him because he was so clever and awesome, plus he had a good reason for what he did (i wont give any spoilers), although i guess he isnt a "Bad Guy" as much as he is a "Anti-Hero" but still he does some messed up stuff

Law abiding citizen

It would have tipped that movie from an good to awesome. All it would have taken was one small twist.

Okay so this is Avatar i my view:

Blue guy #1: Oh mah gawd!!!! Huge metal beasts that came from the sky and shoot fire!!!!
Blue guy #2: What are we gonna do!?! What are we gonna do!?! They are superior in pretty much
every technological way!!!
Blue guy #3: I have a plan!!! We'll jump out of the bushes and hit them with sticks!!!
Blue guys #2 and 3: Thats a great idea!! *derp face*

Anyone that stupid deserves to lose

Also I know its not a movie but the present day protagonists annoy me: The Assassins creed series. The ancestor assassins are badasses but Shagg- I mean Desmond and the rest of Mystery In- I mean the Assassins annoy me for some reason

Now that I think about it, I didn't necessarily want the humans to win in Avatar, but I realised that the badass colonel was basically an action hero.
So if the film was about rascist, uneducated, uncompromising aliens constantly attacking the noble humans who just want to help them out of their self-dug pit of xenophobia and ignorance, he would have been the hero. The guy had some pretty badass moments, that's for sure.

Ultraviolet. That film was so boring that I seriously wanted the protagonists to get wiped out so's that the film would finish sooner.

Looking back on it, you're absolutely right. Poor word choice on my part.
