The one that killed their own citizens in a square in their capital and had celebrations glorifying their "communist" dictatorship on the exact same spot 26 years later.

Fortunately, I live in Hong Kong, and it's a Special Administrative Region. Life is 60% better than 99.9% of the country.

I live in Mother Nature's Thunderdome [http://www.cracked.com/funny-163-australia/].
HOW do you live there? Id be too scared to leave my house.

i got told a story where a friend visited friends in australia and saw a snake cover the width of a road, and the people who lived there are just like "oh, its a carpet snake" or something.

Wanna surf there though.

Australia's pretty good (I should know, I live in Perth, Western Australia).

We like to scare people with our animals. Mostly, if you respect them, they will respect you. Though I am afraid of sharks - those buggers haven't got any respect for anyone, and I don't blame them!

Perth is excellent for beaches, if you like surfing. Don't go to Sydney, it's polluted and full of yobbos.

Recently (as of last week!) moved back to the United Kingdom, England specifically. It's great to be back.

I like how the first six posts are bogus XD

UK, weather sucks, but the uni life isn't bad. As opposed to Aussies and Yanks (sorry if anybody's offended by this, but it's common army slang too), we get to drink at 18 :D

England. More specifically Nottingham. I am getting sick of seeing Russell Crowe's face at the moment, but I don't suppose it is that suprising seeing that he is playing Robin Hood.
Me too, West Bridgford to be more specific. Where about's in Nottingham are you from?

New Zealand. Although, I've been to 36 (37 maybe?) countries and all my ancestors are from Scotland, so I'm a bit conflicted here.

Internationalism ftw.

I currently live in Beeston, as I study at the university. I originally come from Leeds. I prefer Nottingham by a mile.

Australia. More specifically, the Hawekesbury region about an hour outside Sydney.
I used to live near there (Baulkam Hills, went to school In Hawkesbury), has Windsor changed much in the last 5 years?
It's pretty derro and there was a shooting in front of a pizza place in South Windsor, so no, the place hasn't really changed all that much. They recently built a bigger carpark for the train station at Windsor though, so that's new.
