The socialist in me really wants to live in the Worker's Republic but the stoner/new age retro hippie in me wants the Eco-Commune. Maybe if you could combine the two and throw in the technocracy's advanced technology (all that renewable energy can't just come from nowhere) that would be the ideal world for me to live in.

As long as they give me a snazzy uniform and the chance to crack some skulls in the name of internal security, my all for the glorious Fascist Fatherland.

And the techno one..."sexual predators?". The other's cons are more logical, that one is just added to add a con. Anything with powerful individuals, if any of them are sexual predators and think they can get away with it, will likely try.
I took that bit to mean that this particular techno-wonder land has decreed it "illogical" to be concerned by the individual's personal tastes, as long as they excel at their position, so super-scientists can fiddle away as long as they keep our replicators working. I'd say it was a heavy-handed disadvantage, but then just look at all those paedophiles shielded by the BBC for being such money-makers.

these are all dystopias, not utopias. if you were to take away the downsides it would be utopias. This is why they are called utopias, something that is unreachable but worth working towards.

If i had to choose between these six i would choose the green utopia. its downside seems like the least problematic. at worst, you would not be able to become significantly above others in stature, which is not a big deal compared to the downsides of others.

I would also like to try the communist one because i would love to participate in those heated debates you mention.

When it comes to reality, we are currently in the anarcho-capitalist one but are going towards the technocratic one as technology rules our lives more and more these days. hopefully we can solve the biggest problems it will cause.
