Inappropriate Times to Insert a Wilhelm Scream in a Movie

I'm not spoilering these because these movies have been out for years now.

Lord of the Rings: When Gandalf and the Balrog fall from the bridge. Ooh, and when Denethor throws himself off the ledge.

In Saving Private Ryan when the sniper character gets blown out of the church steeple near the ned of the movie.

The Wilhelm scream makes me laugh. The most inappropriate time to use it would probably be during a really heart-wrenching, tear-jerking scene in a sad movie. It'll turn the movie from a Sad --> Funny =D

Seriously, I can't think of a single scene that wouldn't be made instantly better with it.

I actually think that so long as it's a point where a scream is appropriate, you can shoehorn in the Wilhelm Scream for comedy effect. And i'm not just saying that because someone beat me to the idea of using the Wilhelm Scream at the end of sex scenes.

Whenever I hear that scream, regardless of how tragic the scene is, I start laughing.
