Mmm...I love the smell of incense. My parents hate it so they won't allow me to burn it in the house. But vanilla and lavender are my favourite. Whenever I go up to Camden, my clothes smell of it when I come back.

I use to burn incense back when I worked in a fairly small room which was always extremely hot due to being in Daytona and always running several computers and engraving machines. The guy I worked with and I were constantly sweating the entire day through. So I burned incense to help make the room more bearable to sit in for so long.

Favorite scent... probably just a basic vanilla. But if I was to burn any scent for too long, it would quickly get annoying, so I was always trying out new cones and sticks.

My favorite incense burner was a demon budda which burned cones inside making the smoke come out his nostrils and horns and held a stick in each hand. Yeah, we tried out a ton of different combinations thanks to him.

I do all the time, I wish I could burn the charcoal stuff more but I live with my family and they disapprove of filling the house with smoke lol.

I like Dragon's Blood too, but the classics like Sandalwood or Frankincense are great.
Apart from that, there's a lovely Spiced Apple that makes my room smell like apple pie!

With regards to why I burn it.. I hate using chemical air fresheners or sprays, so it's the easiest way to make the place smell nice. Also it's a fairly unavoidable part of being Pagan. :)

I once tried to smoke incense once when I was really drunk, it smelt nice...
I tried that once too when I was a kid, found a stick that had cracked but not broke, so you could suck the smoke right down the middle... I don't smoke anything at all usually so all I got was a very sore burney coughing fit!!

Quite often, I'm burning Opium at the moment, I usually burn that when i want an intense environment. When I have friends around I usually burn either Lavender or Rose, depending on how late it is. But my fav is Opium

I tend to use sandalwood. It sucks in our campus housing though because they have a ***** fit if they catch you.

I inhale enough of that stuff in church and my priest uses way too much of it. My lungs can only take so much abuse.

Huh, I didn't know they used it a lot in church... probably because I haven't been in 10 years (not very religious).

OT, I use Sandalwood incense quite a lot, it's very calming.

Considering how I can't do anything in the cold or exercise my legs without my lungs filling up... no. I can't see that being a good idea.

Nah, I don't burn incense. It's not that I don't like the way it smells, it's just that the smell gets all over your cloths, and you smell like whatever you burned for the rest of the day, which I hate.

I personally hate the stuff, it gives me terrible headaches and if around it long enough I become queezy... much like weed smoke
