I dare to say that it's one of the best movies of all time, it has the best performances of all the cast in their career, one of the smartest scripts ever , excellent score and fantastic CG effect and cinematography.

It was an awesome film, explained the story/concepts incredibly well, the only thing that I didn't like was the ending, no shit I almost screamed fuck off at the end in the cinema, instead I just said it a few times at normal level and the people behind me laughed. The ending gave me the shits.

Loved the movie, greatest movie this summer. As for the ending:

I think he is in the real world, because the top wobbled, and its never done that before. I also have a question about it. When Cobb and Mal are together in their deep sleep, their gone for, what was it, somewhere around 50 years? Anyway, how did their bodies stay alive during however much time occurred in the real world?
To answer your question
In Limbo state inside of a dreaam a year equals only about 1 minute or something like that. As for the ending yes I belive they are probably in the real world but it's a nice little twist at the end nonetheless.
Loved the movie, my favorite so far of this year (I haven't seen Toy Story 3 yet, though). EDIT:Damn these ninjas!

Think something is better? I want to see that film.
Girl With the Dragon Tattoo is my favorite so far of 2010
Came out in 2009, but hey I'll go watch that anyways since its already on DVD.
Oh yeah. Well, it only was released in English in early 2010, so it counts.

And yes, go watch it as it's amazing.

I've only seen Inception once, but I plan to see it at least once more in theaters. Personally, I loved it. Easily my new favorite movie. And the top was definitely going to fall.

Edit: Is the top going to be the new thing to reference, along the lines of "Would you kindly?" and the entire game of Portal?

I know it's stupid but I'll still go with Iron Man 2 so far. I grinned the entire 124 minutes that film took. It provided such a massive dose of pure, raw, unfiltered entertainment that it's hard for me to pick even such a clever and brilliant movie as Inception above it.

Not that Inception wasn't entertaining, Nolan was able to keep it tense and exciting the entire time, which is a very impressive feat for such a long movie. Perfectly paced, it grabbed your attention from the start and never let it go.

But big ass robot suits duking it out on an awesome remix of Queen and Daft Punk [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0B70KUG3mg]...awwwww yeeeaaaaaah. I just couldn't get the smile off my face. It won't get an Oscar, but I don't give a damn. It was just so much fun.

T'was the best movie I've seen this year, pretty much.

It was for my brothers birthday, which is strange, because we went to see Transformers 2 for his last birthday. *the horror*

I actually thought the movie was really short until I walked out of the theater.

Time flys when you're having fun XD

I'd better avoid this thread for now. I will post here once I've seen it.

There's nothing wrong with your pick, is always subjective. I thought Iron Man 2 was solid, but felt safe in many regards. I enjoy being entertained as well in this way, but I prefer films that "stick" in the mind days if not weeks afterward. Appreciate the suggestion though, enjoy Iron Man 2 on DVD soon.

I thought it was superb. Probably the best film like The Matrix since The Matrix...

Definately oscar worthy and definately one of the best films of the last decade. Chris Nolan has proved his talent countless times now and it looks like he may he soon become the next director to rival Spielburg (albeit not the first to have done so). I'll look forward to his next offerings...

Awesome movie. I loved the whole concept from start to finish, but I think it would have done better in a different story setting.
