Yeah... anyone dieing in anything, is immediately voided when ressurrection is available, or maybe it's intended to be sad because it shows how little you care for certain ancillary characters.

It always feels a tad strange when throughout a game you're kicking the stuffing out of and being kicked the stuffing out of constantly with hundreds of hits changing hands at a time. However in a cut scene someone gives you a little stab or a kick and suddenly it's something tremendously serious which can't be solved with any of the vast supplies of potions, bandages and elixers available.

Yeah, it always bugs me something fierce when games aren't internally consistent, as when you have dramatic character deaths in games where bringing people back from the dead is a common occurrence. Clashes between the "physics" of the game and the plot are the most horrible and noticeable to me. You can write any physics you want, but don't go and suddenly decide they don't apply for your stupidly contrived plot.
Thank you for understanding what I am actually talking about.

i've got one, the covenant from halo!

halo combat evolved they spoke gibberish

then in halo 2, surprise, surprise THEY SPEAK ENGLISH!!

o_O

or how bout in super hero games, where in ever sequel there is a new method to kill an old foe, why not just wash rinse repeat?

and another thing, when your fighting the bosses in some games and your using a method to kill say, dodge out of the way from their punch and they go flying into a electric thingy and get hurt, why don't they wise up? are they that stupid? because how would they be a threat to anyone else if they cant even obtain basic survival instincts
